Hey everyone. I’ve got a bit of a situation. I’m trying to translate a video—just for myself, so I can have it with
subtitles on my computer. It’s an episode of The Simpsons. A parody of "The Shining".
So, does anyone know a program that can transcribe audio into subtitles? I really want this cartoon with American subtitles. If there isn't a tool for that, could someone maybe just translate it for me? Anyone who actually knows English? My skills are pretty lacking. It’s about 9 minutes long. Whoever helps me out, I'll make it worth your while.

Look, if it's only 9 minutes, you don't have much work ahead of you. All you really need is Google Translate and Word, or whatever text editor you use.

Just download a subtitle file, open it up to see how the timestamps work, plug in the exact timing for every line, and boom, you're done.

P.S. I once tried translating an entire movie and syncing all the timing... even though the English subtitles were already right there.I translated a bit and then—bam—my computer just completely froze on me.😁

He doesn't have English subtitles, just the audio track, though if you switch to the English version, it's available on YouTube. 🙄

Yeah, exactly. Is there some kind of software out there that handles auto-subtitling? I need the English subs first—then I can just take it from there 🙂

What cartoon is this even about? Honestly, doesn't matter. We'll just hunt down some subtitles... as long as there's some text on the screen in any language, I guess it works. 😁

Syncing audio to subtitles is a losing battle. Just head over to Subscene or OpenSubtitles and search for the show title there instead.

Just download season 6; it includes everything you need, including the subtitles for that specific episode. 🙂
