So, basically, he crossed the white line while exiting the pits—not that anyone bothered to penalize him for it, obviously 😲—and then in Turn 1, Vitaly Petrov just absolutely sliced right through his front wing. He ended up finishing the race in 17th. ☕😁

Maggots, Becketts, Chapel—those turns were basically tailor-made just for Red Bull
It was just another masterclass from Vettel dominating the whole thing, while Nando probably cruises into 2nd and you've got Massa and Mark Webber grinding it out for 3rd, though Massa will likely blow right past him.

So why even bring up him crossing the line if it didn't actually lead to a penalty or land him in 17th? I assume you're just pointing it out to show how unfair Austin Evans can be and how they don't hand out penalties based on what actually happened on track, or do you honestly think grandpa would have had a better result if they'd actually penalized him? 😛

Honestly, I couldn't care less☕
since this whole race was basically just one wild situation after another🤣😁, here's a little fun fact for you:
Narain Karthikeyan finished 23rd in China and then 24th in Miami. He’s actually the only driver in Formula 1 history to ever wrap up a race in both 23rd and 24th place.😲😲

And we occasionally catch them at Budweiser, too.
To be honest, I could always go for a beer—if not now, then maybe once we get to Belgium. 😉
I’m usually here for every race, but I missed yesterday because I had guests over and went for a walk on Sunday. Looking back at the replay, I guess it was probably the smart move, especially since even Lewis Hamilton had a rough one. 🤣 I guess the BBC folks were my favorites; they kept harping on about some supposed rivalry between Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel that never actually existed. 😂 Alonso was fighting that car the whole time, whereas Vettel made it look easy. It seems pretty obvious that Vettel and his Red Bull team are in a league of their own; this season basically boils down to a fight for second place. ☕
It feels like Ferrari is getting better with every single race. I guess they're finally finding their rhythm. 👍
McLaren just looked out of place on this track, and Mercedes was exactly what you'd expect. 🙄
Grandpa and Pastor Maldonado really didn't hold back, did they? 😁
Kudos to Jaime. I’m honestly really happy for him, especially after those BBC reporters grilled him with all those questions about whether he even has a future at Toro Rosso. 👍
A little sweetheart. 😍 I can't really watch videos through this link. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it.
Silverstone should be pretty interesting. I guess we just hope the rain stays away so Grandpa doesn't start pulling his usual stunts again. 😁

After such a lucky exit from the pits and completing an entire lap with a car like that, things really couldn't have gone any better.

I like Vitaly Petrov, I really do, but someone needs to go rip that right side mirror off him. He isn't using it anyway. 😁

Jerga has started shouting that the stewards have finally penalized Petrov, but we all know how much Jerga loves Grandpa, don't we?
No, the officials didn't even bother investigating who did what to whom... Petrov cut him off slightly, but then again, Grandpa wasn't exactly willing to let it go either...

Frank Collins85 said:Jerga started screaming about how the stewards penalized Vitaly Petrov, and we all know how much Jerga loves Grandpa, right?
Nah, the stewards didn't even bother investigating who did what to whom... I mean, Petrov definitely cut someone off, but Grandpa wasn't exactly looking to let it slide either...
Give me a break... you're acting like this is news. Since when does Grandpa just let things go? 😁
By the way, I think Jerga is a decent guy and he actually does a solid job (if he could just stop reciting his lines like he's reading a script), but some of his calls feel almost amateurish.

EU now☕

Frank Collins85 said:John Doe is already losing his mind, screaming about how the stewards just penalized Peter. We all know how much Jerry loves Grandpa, right?
No, those guys weren't exactly out there playing detective to see who did what to whom. Peter cut through some of the nonsense, but Grandpa wasn't exactly eager to let it go either.
I messed up. Honestly, I just blew it. It was my mistake, plain and simple.
Honestly, if you ask me, it looks like Peter is the one entirely to blame here.🤷
If Grandpa says he’s the one to blame, then I guess he’s right.🤷

stormybadger8 said:If Grandpa says he’s the one to blame, then I guess he probably is.🤷
Grandpa’s grown up. He doesn't feel the need to prove a damn thing to anyone anymore. Not any longer. 😍

Don't mess with Grandpa 🙂
It’s already hard enough on him at his age, so honestly, just stop trolling Grandpa and his fans 😳
I really don't get the point 🤷

I caught Grandpa’s statement later on, and he basically admitted the whole thing was his own fault.
Regarding that infamous line
They were looping the footage, kind of like how they replay things in tennis😁, and honestly... Grandpa wasn't even fully over the line
Even the officials seemed unsure if a penalty should have been called or not🤷🤣😁
Still waiting for someone to tell me what happened with Webber's gearbox 🙄🙂

Amy Ward66 said:James really pulled it off, and I’m honestly stoked for him—especially after those BBC reporters spent the entire post-qualifying session grilling him with those loaded questions about whether he's actually got a future at STR. 👍
just a little cutie 😍 I can't really wrap my head around why anyone would bother watching this, honestly. It feels like staring at a blank wall while waiting for a bus that’s already twenty minutes late—just a massive, hollow exercise in wasting whatever little time we have left.
Man, I can't even deal with this right now. Just... wow. 🙂
I was also kind of vibing with that part where he mentions how everything just feels like one massive, uphill battle for him.
It’s like watching that one guy who thinks he’s suddenly a genius just because he finally figured out how to drive a stick shift; he gets this little spark in his eye every single time he feels the car actually gripping the asphalt or handling a corner properly.
It’s basically just more of the same nonsense we heard from F1 yesterday.
Huh... interesting. 😳
I wrote this ages ago—honestly, I can only imagine what kind of twisted little scheme they’re cooking up to squeeze every last cent out of us.
We're just sitting here, playing the waiting game. ☕😁

It’s probably hard enough for him at his age, so I guess it just isn't fair to poke fun at Grandpa or his fans😳
I honestly don't get why anyone would🤷
Let the kids have their fun☕
Maria Lopez said:Nobody answered my question about what happens with Webber's gearbox :D🙂
Starting this year, the gearbox has to last five races in a row, not four. So, technically, Mark wouldn't be able to swap his out until Germany. I suppose it's unclear what the penalties are if he changes it earlier🤷
