Look, I'm new here. 🙂 I was wondering if anyone actually has experience using the Betway sportsbook... If you do, shoot me a private message—or better yet, point me toward an existing thread about them so I don't end up spamming this one for nothing.
Thanks a lot. 😉

I’ve been using BetMGM lately, but I’m seriously looking to jump ship—the minimum withdrawal is $80, which is just ridiculous. Meanwhile, Betway only requires $30... anyone here actually have experience with Betway? Specifically regarding payouts (I'm based in the US). I know for the first withdrawal they always make you upload IDs, cards, or whatever else to verify everything.

Pretty sure the minimum on B@H is only $10 if I recall correctly, but you probably grabbed a bonus, so now you're stuck hitting that $80 mark just to see any cash...

I’ve never actually touched the bonuses over there... I just deposited what I needed and always had my 😕 right when I wanted it. But now I’ve moved over to Betway—so let's see if things actually go my way here 🙂

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for an online sportsbook, mostly for soccer and MMA—it’s huge for me that they carry UFC, plus Bellator or Strikeforce if possible. Also boxing (the big fights), maybe some K1, but that's not a dealbreaker. I'm thinking of starting with a $50 to $100 deposit, so I really want a site that offers a 100% match bonus, ideally starting at $50 or even $100. I've never actually bet online before, so I'm pretty clueless about which sites are legit. I did a little digging, but I can't seem to find one with a 100% bonus that also has a deep MMA selection. Maybe the experienced folks here could give me some pointers.
Also, I was wondering... is there any issue with signing up for a foreign sportsbook? Like, am I going to run into tax problems, or does the IRS just handle everything automatically?

Thanks in advance for the help

I signed up on Bet365, put in $100, got a $100 bonus, and dropped the whole $100 on a single bet.

I don't get this rollover stuff. Can someone explain?

you will need to rollover your deposit and bonus three times prior to making a withdrawal.

So does that mean I have to wager $300 total, or do I need to hit $300 for the deposit and then another $300 for the bonus before I can actually pull my money out?

I don't really get this rollover thing. Can someone break it down for me?

Just a heads-up: you'll need to roll over both your deposit and your bonus three times before you can actually pull any cash out.

Does this mean I have to place bets totaling $300, or am I looking at $600—meaning one $300 bet for the deposit and another $300 for the bonus—before I can actually withdraw everything at once?

For Bet365, you need to have a 600 dollar wager, and I think that means with odds over 1.7 or 1.5—I can't quite remember which one.
Everything you need is right there when you go to check your balance...

Hey there!

I don't get this rollover crap. Can someone explain what's actually going on here?

You have to wager a total of 3x (bonus + deposit), which in your case means $600.

You can bet $1 at a time or whatever you want; it doesn't matter, as long as you hit their requirement.
And you gotta stick to odds of at least 1.6.

It’s not that hard to meet the terms; there's always something you can hit.

My first deposit would be around $50-$100, so I’m hunting for a 100% match bonus—minimum $50, maybe even $100 if I'm lucky. I've never bet online before and honestly have zero clue how these sites work. Did a little digging, but couldn't find anyone offering a 100% bonus with a deep enough MMA roster. Any veterans out there got suggestions?
Also, any issues with signing up for a site based overseas? Like, tax problems or does the IRS just track everything automatically?

Thanks in advance for the help

If you want UFC, DraftKings is your best bet. Their breakdowns are insane—they actually specualte on *how* a fighter wins, not just that they will. You get UFC and Strikeforce. They've got K1 too, so they're probably the heavyweights online for that stuff. 😉

So, I have this one $100 bet, and then I supposedly need to place like five more $100 bets at some specific odds or whatever? Is that how I can finally withdraw all my cash? And what if I actually win this first one... can I pull those winnings out before dealing with the whole rollover thing? I guess.

Looks like I have to register on DraftKings first just to see what kind of offers they even have. I don't really get how to view anything without an account.

Looks like I gotta sign up for DraftKings first just to figure out what kind of action they even have. Total headache.

You gotta roll over your entire deposit before you can even think about hitting that withdraw button.

You gotta register on DraftKings just to see what they're offering, but for UFC and stuff like that? They're top-tier. I know Pinnacle has similar options, but if I remember right, DraftKings is still the heavyweight champ.

I mean, I already did. 😁 I put $100 on Mirko. So, I can just withdraw my deposit and the winnings if I actually win, right? I guess.

I guess you have to register on DraftKings first just to see what they're offering, but for UFC and stuff like that, they're actually solid. Pinnacle has similar options too, but if I remember right, DraftKings is probably the strongest.

I guess I'll just sign up whenever there's an actually interesting fight. Maybe then.

You aren't getting any withdrawals until you hit those bonus requirements. You can only cash out once you've finished the entire rollover. Just go read the T&C.

Yeah, but it feels kind of stupid that I can't even touch my own cash (they basically act like it's already theirs 🙂). I don't get rules like that. Fine for the bonus, whatever. But if it's my deposit and I win, I should be able to withdraw whenever I want, I guess.

If I hit, I'll have $425.

What do you guys think about this system where I put
$60 on my next bet (aiming for odds around 3),
and if I lose, I double up and put $120, and
then if I lose again, I put $240?

If I win on the third try at 3.0 odds, I'd walk away with $720. Thoughts?

Look, that’s all laid out in the fine print—you agreed to those terms before you even touched the bonus. It’s standard practice to stop people from just grabbing the freebies and immediately hitting the withdrawal button. Honestly? I think it’s a pretty logical move on their end; if anything, they’re being decent compared to some of the insane rules you run into elsewhere 🤷

As for that progression strategy... I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole, especially since you've already got enough bankroll to cover three steps. Just keep placing your bets normally until you clear the wagering requirements. It’s really not that big of a deal, trust me.

Fine

I wouldn't recommend using a progression system at all, especially since you have enough cash for three steps... Just keep betting normally until you meet the bonus requirements; it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Maybe explain why not? How many steps should I use instead? Three feels like enough to me, I guess. Take this Mirko Schaub fight, for example. Mirko is at 3.25 odds. In three fights like that, Mirko would probably win at least once.
I could always lower my stake and stretch it out to four steps, I suppose.

I've been scrolling through the last few pages and I don't see a single mention of Betfair.

If you're looking to get serious about betting and actually make money in the long run, Betfair is where you need to be. It can be a bit of a learning curve for beginners to wrap their heads around the mechanics, but once it clicks, it opens up an entirely new dimension of betting.🙂

For those who prefer traditional online sportsbooks, Pinnacle is easily a class above the rest.

P.S. Peter Williams37, of all the people on this forum, I happen to run into you?🤣 Cheers.👍

And what are you going to do about it, 🤣

Anyway, I usually just use Binteko Fairbot for my Betfair stuff. It's a little weaker than the other tools out there, but it gets the job done for me...

Does anyone know how Bet365 handles payouts to the US? I was thinking about depositing 100 bucks, but now I'm wondering how the withdrawal process actually works.

I've been using Bet at Home, but I’m looking to switch things up because their minimum withdrawal is $80, whereas Bwin only requires $30. Has anyone here had experience with Bwin? I'm particularly curious about the payout process. Since I'm based in the US, I know that for the initial withdrawal, they usually require you to upload copies of your ID or credit card and such.

Wait, how do you mean you had to copy your ID? You literally have to send them a scan of your documents—are they actually sane?
