I see that Bet at Home is running a 100% deposit bonus right now. So, if I drop $100 in and get an extra $100 on top... can I just pull my original $100 back out and just play with the bonus money, or is there some other catch to the logic?

Nah, you can't do that—you have to "roll over" the full amount of both the bonus and your deposit a certain number of times at a specific minimum odds. Usually, it’s something like 4-6x wagering with minimum odds around 1.5, 1.6, or even 2+. Just go read the T&Cs before you get your hopes up.

Online betting is fine—as long as you're playing for real stakes.
If you're just messing around with small change, it’s not worth the headache because those fees eat you alive...

😕

A high fee actually hits harder when you're betting big, not small—I just don't get this logic at all. Compared to your typical local US sportsbook, online sites don't even have MT😕

Can anyone point me toward a sportsbook that actually offers a $5 free bet? Something along the lines of what Bet at Home used to do... 🤷

Oh, come on, stop talking nonsense! Online sportsbooks are actually way better, and they aren't hitting you with some random fee—if you're getting charged, it’s probably because you’re depositing and withdrawing using the wrong methods. I bet on all the time like this and I don't pay a single cent in commission, no matter how much cash is on the line.

Anyone have any insight on what BET3000 is actually like?

EDIT: They're offering a 5 dollar bonus—but apparently, it’s not available to US citizens.😁

Complete garbage. Honestly, if you deposit anything there, the real question is whether you'll ever actually see your money again. Yeah, they give everyone a 5 bucks bonus, but withdrawals only go to a bank account. If you're trying to use Moneybookers, you have to do everything manually—basically sending funds like you're paying some random guy privately.😁

Look, I wasn't planning on depositing anything there—I'm not crazy 😁
but taking $5 just to see what happens? Sure. You never know when you might get lucky playing with their money... though you can't do that here in the States. Back home, we have about ten different countries that just hand out those bonuses 😁

I am reaching out to see if anyone can assist me. Does anyone know if there is an online sportsbook currently offering a "Win for Life" style promotion?🤷

Supersport has it.

Andrew Rogers6 said:Super Sport offers

I am aware that Super Sport has options, but they also have a physical retail presence, which is exactly why I am hunting for an online bookmaker.

In my search, I stumbled upon one called Foruna Win. It seems to offer everything you could possibly want, but there is a catch: when I attempt to register, it asks if I have a permanent residence in America. When I select yes, it redirects me straight to the Fortuna site. (I tried selecting "No" to bypass this, which allows registration, but a warning pops up. Honestly, I am hesitant to proceed because I fear they won't honor my payouts if I don't meet their residency requirements).
Does this mean Americans are effectively barred from registering? It feels nonsensical, especially since the site is clearly tailored for our market. In other words, are we forced to deal with the manipulative fees at Fortuna?😕

Does anyone know a workaround?

Just open an account; a lot of the online sportsbooks hand out birthday gifts like $5 or $10, which usually just hits your inbox
betath has this daily prize draw where they give away $50, and every single day they pick someone who has an account; if you log in to your sportsbook account that day, you win, and if you don't, the prize rolls over to the next day, so I guess you can eventually stack up a decent amount, maybe a few thousand dollars. Last year, my neighbor actually walked away with $900

Which online sportsbooks do people actually use for online betting? I'm talking about those situations where it's last minute or when the local brick-and-mortar shops are already closed for the night. Ideally, I need somewhere with a smooth registration process—deposits, withdrawals, the whole nine yards...
I have an account with Bwin (haven't touched it in ages), and I checked out Bet365, but they don't seem to offer player prop bets for points scored.
Can you also pull off some last-minute online action through Supersport? I know they launched online betting, but I have no clue how their system works regarding deposits and payouts.

Look, just because someone bets online doesn't mean they're all playing player props for NBA betting. The guys over in the "NBA betting" thread—that's who I was actually asking about.
I’m actually curious if anyone here is even going to bother answering this—if not, should I just take this question back to that other thread?

Thanks!

If someone actually has the answer you're looking for, they’ll give it to you regardless of where you ask.
Since we're all here talking about online betting anyway, this is pretty much the spot to be.

I have a BetMGM account (haven't touched it in forever), looked at bet365, but I can't find any player prop bets on points scored anywhere.
Can you also use DraftKings for last-minute online betting? I know they launched their online platform, but I'm not sure how the whole deposit and withdrawal process works with them.

Just browse through whatever online books fit what you're looking for. Registration is pretty much identical across most of them; you'll just need to upload some ID before you can withdraw. Deposits and payouts are usually quick and easy via Zelle or Visa.
Not really sure what you mean by "last minute."

I have no idea what you mean by "last minute."

By "last minute," I mean betting right before tip-off. Like, in the NBA, it’s huge when you find out ten minutes before the game starts that a star player is sitting out. At that point—if you're trying to bet from home in the morning—hitting a local sportsbook is basically impossible. That's what I'm talking about.

I'm asking if anyone has experience here, specifically with the NBA—player prop bets, like points scored—because that's the whole reason I'd even bother opening an account. I haven't seen those kinds of props on the sites I've checked out so far.
Also, I'm asking because getting money in and out isn't seamless everywhere in the States. I know how it works with DraftKings (I have an account there), but I don't know how the others handle it.

So, yeah, if anyone can give me the specifics on NBA player props...

Sorted!🙂
DraftKings has NBA player props for over/under bets—it looks like I just happened to be checking during the final stretch of the regular season when they pulled them because the stars were all sitting out to rest.
I'll stick with DraftKings then.

I'm trying to figure out which sportsbook is actually worth using if I just want to place some solo soccer bets.
Basically, I need a place that won't flake when I drop a $1,000 wager on a game and actually pays out my $4,000 winnings without making it a whole ordeal...

I need somewhere that will actually accept a $1,000 wager and, obviously, pay out a $4,000 win without any issues.

SBOBET is definitely the way to go for soccer. If you're looking at the Premier League or Serie A, the limits can go as high as $30,000. They have really solid limits. You can generally drop over $1,000 even on those obscure leagues too. For example, right now for that USA U19-Spain U18 friendly, the limit is $1,429. Or take the kids' USA U16-Canada U16 match—the limit there is $477. Even for the total wild west of soccer, they handle it. 188bet also offers high limits, and I personally lean toward Pinnacle for basketball and tennis because their limits are just as massive. Pick one of those three and you won't have any trouble playing with larger sums.

The way Asians approach betting is just like how we approach a good drink....

Both SBOBET and 188bet offer full live betting coverage, ranging from 16-year-old youth matches all the way up to the major leagues.
