Benjamin King2 said:Did you actually grab the drivers from the Trust website? Or maybe used the CD if it came with the box? Also, make sure you install DirectX from that link I sent earlier. You can also check how the camera performs on this Trust testing page: http://www.trust.com/webcamtestguide

Thanks for the help, but my laptop just won't recognize the camera. I already ran that software, but nothing happened. I'll give that test site a shot now... πŸ™‚

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, and I've run into a little snagβ€”my laptop camera just won't work. πŸ™‚
I'm using an HP ProBook 4510s running Windows 7. I tried downloading the drivers directly from the HP website and attempted to install them, but nothing seems to be working; the camera is still dead.
Any help would be appreciated 😁

You actually need to download the full webcam software too, not just the driver itself: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48900.exe

Alright, here’s the situation. 😍
I've been trying to install all the drivers from the CD for my webcam (the Genius i-Look 110), but when I finally fire it upβ€”nothing but a black screen. To make matters even more frustrating, when I check the Device Manager, it’s like the camera doesn't even exist! It's not showing up at all.

Does anyone happen to know what I should try doing to fix this? πŸ™‚

This should probably fall under Medical imaging equipmentβ€”does this camera actually look legit to you? When you plugged it in, did Windows (which version were you running, by the way?) even recognize that it was connected?
