It's honestly kind of weird reading all these old comments about Blade—like, who even are you people? 😵
I’m actually pretty worried about how much they're going to rush through things or just nerf Blade in the MCU once Mahershala Ali takes over. I guess it'll probably end up being some Female Blade in her own solo movie saving the day while Blade just sits on the sidelines clapping and shouting "You go girl!"

But hey, that's the MCU for you, so I probably won't even bother watching it. To be honest, I'm expecting nothing from this version of the franchise. I'm staying quiet because I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

Mahershala Ali is taking over for Snipes as Blade.
But honestly, knowing how the MCU works, especially since they hit phase 4, I'm pretty much 99.9% sure the main hero will end up being some woman who somehow saves the day while the actual lead just hangs around.

Look, Blade is the gold standard. It’s just impossible to make an action superhero movie this good nowadays. You get the grit, the blood, the swearing, and that unapologetic political edge that actually feels real. I’m telling you, this new one is probably going to be some watered-down, PG-13 piece of garbage.

I mean, honestly, what’s the world missing? We basically need vampires flying around at night, screeching their heads off while swinging katanas.
