Shame, really... maybe he would've actually learned something🀷 πŸ™‚

I guess we can just say you reacted that way in the moment, and honestly, I did the exact same thing myself. 🀷

McLaren is basically just that one squirrel constantly scavenging for nuts on the roof of the McLaren Technology Centre, so I’d appreciate it if we all took a second to actually think before we start throwing the name around in here. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

The McLaren Team... and now we're stuck dealing with the dictionary too. 😁 )....🀣

It isn't even about that, it's just how it goesβ€”you ask someone a simple question and suddenly you're forced into some awkward conversation about men, and before you know it, you're stuck giving endless explanations just to smooth things over. 😲 It's exhausting. 🀣

Anyway, let me play the gentleman here:

Ladies, congratulations on Alonso's podium finish; that second-place spot was basically a guarantee, though I'm sure it brought a smile to all your faces while you were watching

his triumphant face as he stood there soaked in champagne, grinning at everyone whether they were trackside or just staring at a small screen. πŸ™ πŸ™

He really nails exactly why you can't stand Lewis Hamilton. 😁

redheron12, look, you're old enough to know what sarcasm actually meansβ€”you've been around the block long enough to get it. My post was clearly sarcastic. If you want to go out and insult someone, go find somebody else to bother, because I'm not the one.

Well, you're certainly old enough that I'm not going to baby you or walk on eggshells around your feelings. If only you hadn't already hit adulthood...

I don't see what's so offensive here. You were the one who brought the subject up implicitly in the first placeβ€”so, really, just deal with it.πŸ‘

Well... we might be a small group of McLaren fans, but we’re certainly dedicatedβ€”and we definitely made our presence felt by flooding this thread.

Honestly, if you’re foolish enough to set the fastest lap of the race while sitting in a safe position with only three laps leftβ€”well, you practically deserve a tire blowout. Just my two cents.😳

Obviously. I suppose I just value actual expertise and hard work πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ over just being some 🀷 😁
lucky driver.

And honestly, if you're dim enough to go setting the fastest lap with only three laps left in the race, you practically deserve a blowout tire...😳

Cheers to my friend the farmer over there.πŸ™

The guy basically claims he was just out for a casual cruise; I swear they need to add a "Tyre Conservation Mode" button to the steering wheel at this point.

How could they? I suppose I did mention that my own Ford Fiesta might actually be faster than his race car😁 I'm not quite sure what else I could have done to make my point clearly.🀣

But honestly, what’s even offensive about that? You were the one who brought the whole topic up implicitly in the first place... so just beat it.πŸ‘

I’ve already addressed you in two or three different posts by now. That's more than enough, really, because there's zero point in me trying to explain myself to you when none of my arguments are gonna dent that attitude of yoursβ€”so hey, if being salty makes you happy, go for it.

Alright then, we love you guys πŸ™‚ 😁

Anyway, I should probably get off this thread before Sebastian Vettel comes after us.😍

Ahem... you were criticizing Sebastian Vettel's carβ€”not his skill as a driver or his characterβ€”as a man.

Regarding that whole situation with Lewis Hamiltonβ€”it honestly feels like some people are taking it quite personally.

God, I have such an appreciation for the techniciansβ€”they aren't weighed down by ego, whether it's their own or someone else's 😍

When all was said and done, the race actually turned out to be far more engaging than I had anticipated.

The big winner here is Fernando Alonso; he managed to jump up two spots through no fault of his own, walking away with a massive haul of points in front of his home crowd.

If you ask me, the real masterclass in driving came from Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber. πŸ™ πŸ™

Michael Schumacher displayed those legendary defensive skills while holding off Jenson Button, but the struggle Nico Rosberg faced on those new soft tires in a lackluster Williams really highlights just how difficult overtaking is at this track.

Both Rosberg and Felipe Massa will likely be praying that we all forget this particular race anytime soon.
If they end up putting Massu in a Renault next year, I honestly don't know how I'll cope... 😒

Speaking of Renault, unfortunately, Robert Kubica also finished even lower than where he started this time around. :-/

But Vitaly Petrov moved from 19th on the grid all the way up to 11th. Such a shame to miss out on points by just one spot.
