I am filing a formal protest regarding certain posts by Brezovke, specifically concerning passages that imply Muslims face threats of war and bloodshed because of the hijab and similar religious practices. I have no intention of engaging in a debate—nor am I personally attacking the individual—regarding whether Brezovke is a well-meaning forum member or what her true intentions may be; however, good intentions do not guarantee accuracy, and the end does not justify the means. Consequently, this post serves primarily as a critique of the moderators, to whom I previously submitted a report that went unaddressed, and I now request that they provide an explanation as to why they determined that these quotes constitute legitimate forum content:

If you burden us with nothing but material concerns, even down to wearing a headscarf, we will go to war.
For that blood, those who committed injustice against others in the name of faith and in the name of God shall be held responsible.
They were laying the foundation for new bloodshed.

Later on, within the text itself, I responded and used red lettering to highlight the contentious portion

Therefore, I ask our moderators to find the appropriate time to explain this section, which I find highly objectionable.

I am grateful in advance for the time and effort invested in this matter.

P.S.

Regarding this protest, the PDF moderators have already stated that they see nothing wrong with the content.

Thus, I politely request that the administrators also weigh in here...

Thank you in advance...

Fine, just go wear a veil every single day so you can barely even see through it, then come back and tell me how much any woman actually finds that attractive or why mods would ever give a damn about it. These women aren't wearing them because they're looking for approval

Tell us exactly how much any woman would actually enjoy that, or why the moderators would ever need to step in regarding such things. These women aren't wearing headscarves simply because it's their personal fashion choice...

5) It is strictly prohibited to deliberately present unverified or false information as if it were factual and proven.

They wear the hijab because they want to live as practicing Muslims, and that is what Muslim women do...

Where exactly do you get the authority to spread misinformation about the intentions of women who choose to wear the hijab? 🙄

I’m with blue bird on this one... this particular snippet has been completely ripped out of context. The entire post isn't some attempt to incite violence or issue threats—if anything, it’s actually quite the opposite.

Then why on earth would they go and pour acid on someone's face just for taking off a veil? Look, I have nothing against anyone's religious beliefs, but wearing a veil is just a cultural thing—it’s not like they're out there inciting violence or anything.

I am requesting that the administration carefully review the post and provide a formal determination as to whether this constitutes hate speech or a threat toward those who wear hijabs during wartime or otherwise.

First off, sorry I’m running a bit behind schedule here.
Secondly, if you ask me, the post is perfectly fine; it basically just lays out how stripping away fundamental freedoms is a direct path toward an inevitable collision
. I didn't see any kind of threat directed at Muslims in there, especially since even certain parts of Christian doctrine feel a bit outdated by today's standards anyway
. As I see it, the whole thing is really about broader, universal values

I certainly did not perceive any threat directed toward Muslims within those words, particularly since even certain tenets within Christianity have become somewhat antiquated by modern standards...
As I interpret it, the post addresses universal values...

With all due respect to the forum administration—and citing both my current grievance and links to previous complaints regarding similar topics such as this one and this one—I am reaching out to the forum owners. I am not writing this to intimidate anyone (there is no need to remind me that I am free to file a formal complaint), but rather to make my position known publicly so that I am not perceived as someone complaining behind people's backs. Nor am I writing this under the assumption that it will certainly effect change, but rather to fulfill my own sense of civic duty...

All things considered, I would feel remiss if I were to silently overlook the typical anti-theistic rhetorical inquisitions being conducted within the religion subforums against institutional faiths (primarily, though not exclusively, Islam), especially when such rhetoric receives tacit approval or overt support from the administration...

To be clear, I am not suggesting that the forum as a whole is lacking—I rarely visit other subforums—but I am simply offering a critique of this specific, and in my view, inconsequential segment of an otherwise solid community...

Thank you for the response, regardless of the delay...🙂
