HP ProBook 450 review/discussion

I can't find a single working audio driver anywhere..

It's obvious everyone is running into this exact same wall, so if anyone out there actually knows what they're doing, please help me out...

There is literally just one driver floating around on the web for this, and let me tell you, it doesn't work for shit..

Are you getting some kind of specific error message when you try to install the audio driver? Also, which version of Windows are you running?

Nope.
I mean, I’m running the installer like I’m supposed to, but the damn thing just won't work.
It isn't even throwing an error code at me; it actually goes through the motions and tells me the installation was successful.

I've been reading online that other people are hitting this same wall, and apparently, some of them managed to fix it by tweaking something in the BIOS.

It might just be that your onboard audio is disabled right in the BIOS—you should probably double-check those settings and see if you can enable it if it’s currently set to disable.
