ruggedhawk20 said:Dude, just look up who actually owns this company, please me one favor

The owner is

"AMERICAN BUSINESS ANGEL NETWORK"

whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean!!!!

Why are you acting so surprised? It’s plain as day. 🤣

It’s pretty obvious, logically speaking, that it would probably end up being some kind of "association" or something like that. 😉
You should check if that "to" isn't just some VAT requirement tied to that Tax ID. If it’s a legitimate company, they probably would've written something like LLC after the name.

So you go check, and this is what you end up with. 😉

So, we've got ourselves a club. ☕

Mostly, when you look at the sheer amount of LLCs out there—not to mention the sole proprietorships and the obvious rise in non-profits...
Looks like the main goal here is just figuring out how to dodge taxes. 🤔
I don't see the point in registering some new company every five minutes... though I guess it doesn't strictly have to be that way. 🤷

And all those associations, if I remember correctly, had some articles written about them in the media claiming they were tax-exempt or caught up in some kind of scheme—though, honestly, I don't really follow that stuff closely enough to wrap my head around it. 🤷
For some reason, that name just makes me think of Prpić (if that's even how you spell it). 🤔From HG Spot, I think he was part of that association too. 🤔

EDIT:
Yeah, Jep and Prpić are still hanging around, and Štetner’s still sitting in the president's chair...

Early 2011. On my own. He heads into negotiations to snag the Formula 1™ media rights, and honestly, he pulls it off. He signs a direct deal with Bernie Ecclestone and Formula One World Championship Ltd., becoming the exclusive owner of Formula 1™ rights for the US for the next three years. At just 29 years old, he’s officially the youngest F1™ rights holder on the planet.

I'm dying to know what Mlađo would have to say about this... doesn't he have some skin in the game?

All things considered... M. J. briefly breathed some life back into the GP1 portal.
Oton ribič is back, attempting to coax Zlatko Kefelja back into the fold—we have new contributors now—and our resident F1 expert was once again full of ideas and vision... BUT... an impossible situation has occurred...

One day, in the far, far distant future, D. Š. might find himself begging for spare change in Ban Jelačić Square, finally realizing just how powerfully arrogant and underhanded he used to be...

A man like M. J. possesses a rather egoistic streak, but he certainly knows how to provide value when it comes to F1... It’s a shame, truly a shame, to cast aside an F1 figure like him...

Even Jerg would be jealous of this girl 🤣
At least she’s twenty times better than Štetner 🙏🤣🤣🤣

Is Jergović gone from the GP1 portal for good?? Did the relationship just crash and burn again?

I recently caught a PR piece about Štetner. I'm guessing his president paid for that one...

Man, things clearly went south the second they started. It's obvious.

Now Mlađo has an article on the back page of the Sports News. At least, that’s how it looked after Australia.

Mladen Jergović lives forever:

dina Milic-Jakovlic I had a soft spot for both Ligier and him; it was truly heartbreaking when that accident happened. Still, that remains the greatest F1 broadcast in history. Mladen Jergović took the grueling ninety-minute process of extracting drivers from their cars and shuttling them to helicopters and turned it into a high-stakes thriller. The following week, Studio magazine showered him with an unprecedented six or eight standing ovations, crowning it the finest sports coverage ever produced.

Jerga is definitely more formidable than Blaž... wouldn't you agree? 🙏

Will our fellow F1 enthusiast Mladen Jergović ever make a comeback (a "resurrection," if you will) to our corner of the internet?

I’m surprised he didn't go after Stewart. 😁

Lewis handled that one with a lot of class...

Back before the 2007 season kicked off—given enough credit—Jergović claimed he was the biggest talent to hit Formula 1 since Ayrton Senna; he was laughed out of the room by the folks on that other forum (not this one, obviously).

A blind hen pecking at a grain of corn😁

If my memory serves me right—and it usually does when it comes to these things—he was being mocked over on the American news forums, though, to be fair, he certainly provided plenty of fuel for the fire himself.

I recall seeing a post on his site where darkmarlin16 was commenting on something and decided to cite Joža Bistranski as the ultimate authority on F1 in this neck of the woods—or at least, that's how he put it—only for Jergović to snap back that he'd never even heard of the guy.
What kind of expert is that, anyway...

I don't recall that 🤣

Today serves as definitive proof that Mladen Jergović is a far superior and more high-quality sports journalist than Ivica Blažičko.

Mladen can talk about himself and Formula 1 for hours on end, whereas Blažičko just vanishes from the screen the second there’s a break on the track...

Oh, my dear Ivica Blažičko. 🤦

That's enough about this little story of yours, which most people have either swallowed whole or eaten up with a side of onions:

Ivica, you and YOUR fake truths.

It’s no secret how much I can't stand Blažičko, but Blažičko > Jergović.

Jergović is channeling his inner Silvi Tomašević, filming in a room overflowing with books.

But I suppose we’ll eventually have to make sure autism gets as much attention as racism does so that peoplestopbullying others soinsensitively.

It’s just not going to happen. Period.

Racism has been in the spotlight since the days of the Ku Klux Klan (and even before then), yet all its various forms still haven't faded away.
The same logic applies to neurological conditions, mental health issues, debt slavery, or any other way people manipulate and exploit the working class—these things will stay in the spotlight, or something similar will take their place, because there seems to be an inherent human impulse to mock one another through humiliation, snobbery, and condescension.

If you haven't developed your own self-awareness, basic upbringing, or a sense of respect for yourself and others, then all the social activism in the world won't matter; there will always be those internal "gremlins" waiting to surface.

We can show each other respect here and be careful not to encourage racism or any kind of aggression, violence, or stigma... but until individuals actually find themselves, all the activism in the world is just noise.

Getting back to the topic; Mladen Jergović, thank God you're alive and that you're back with us, even if it's on a relatively small and niche platform like this:

https://www.espn.com/racing/

👍

And here we have Blažičko over at https://espn.com/:

Fast forward to the 33rd minute, and they're talking Formula 1.

The two masters of the American media landscape, Jergović - Blažičko, are being featured by Slaven Bonačić (the podcast host).
