A four-band tour like that only happens in countries where massive corporations can actually foot the bill for such a spectacle. Around here, the only thing big enough to pull that off is Coachella.
I bet Dave Mustaine will play a huge role in this, but I’m 100% certain it’s just not going to happen. He’ll be the last one on board.
Besides, Metallica doesn't have that old magic anymore, and Slayer was never really a stadium-level act anyway. Megadeth might be able to pull it off, but they aren't quite at the level of Metallica or Iron Maiden. And Anthrax? They're putting out weak albums, struggling with vocalists, and they've basically become a club band.
The bottom line is that Megadeth dropped an awesome new album.👍
And obviously, we're hoping to see them perform here in the States!
