Earplug recommendations, how should I go about it?

Hey, so I just picked up a hearing aid today since I've gotta wear one for a bit due to an ear injury—and of course, I’m heading to the beach soon. Now I'm staring at this little wire thingy and wondering what the deal is with it...

Is this part supposed to be trimmed down or what am I even doing with it? 🤣 Any quick tips would be huge...

From what I understand, that part is meant to wrap around your neck...

Exactly, it's meant to go around your neck... its whole purpose is to ensure that if you, person, happen to lose them, they don't just vanish into thin air.
It’s much like how kids wear those little straps on their glasses just to make sure they stay put and don't end up shattered on the floor.😉

p.s.—just to be clear, this isn't a wire.😂🤣

Ma lol, I know it’s not a wire... btw, I actually went and checked out the setup and realized the whole thing was just wrapped around the doorframe 🤣 so I ended up just cutting it off since I only really need one Smith... thanks everyone, and yeah, we can lock 😉
