90s concerts in Canada

Regarding that pivotal year of 1991, I recall Bob Dylan was touring through Washington, D.C., and even made his way to Belgrade during that same June... those were some of the final concerts held before everything descended into conflict.





... then there was B.B. King performing in Belgrade later that July at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center during the Newport Jazz Festival.

I've seen them before, though I haven't caught a live set lately. I actually watched an old interview on Metal Mania—I still have quite a collection of those shows saved on VHS.
Here it is: I just came across this video, and I have to say, it’s absolutely captivating. There is something about the way this is presented that really hits home. It’s one of those pieces that stays with you long after you've finished watching. What do you all think? Does anyone else find this as striking as I do?

Yeah, they were at the same festival back in '91. The Gun Club was there too. 😠

The Pixies played a gig at Studio 54 back in the day, right before things went south in Chicago. Same deal as when The Exploited rolled through.
