Save that amateurish attitude for the crowd back in Lylo. 😉 Look, I already said I don't want to derail this thread anymore—so if you actually have something useful to contribute or if there's something you're curious about, just send me a DM.

Beer spikes? Is that some kind of "nobody would ever get me" kind of vibe? 😉

I honestly don't know what's bothering you, because I feel like I laid out exactly what I’m recommending and the reasoning behind it.
I mean, that's really the only way I see any point in even leaving a comment, right?

We just have different takes on this, and that's just how it goes.

Hahaha, you guys totally trashed my thread and now I'm just... 😉 Look, feel free to throw around all the technical jargon you want—stuff like lipolysis or catabolism—it’s not like I don't know a thing about this stuff, so no worries there.

Also, Steve—I'm not looking to go to a doctor or anything. I didn't even ask if I should see one. It hasn't crossed my mind to go because my feet start going numb after just 10 minutes of running; I was honestly just wondering if anyone had a logical explanation for it.
The whole stretching thing would make sense if this happened *after* a workout, but I’m running for 10 minutes and then they start tingling right in the middle of the run.

Look, at the end of the day—whether you’re feeling it right after a run or if the soreness hits you mid-workout when you're trying to pick up the pace—your muscles are going to be tight from skipping your stretches. It’s just basic biology. You can expect that pain to flare up whenever you decide to push yourself, so honestly? Just make sure you actually do your stretching. It's non-negotiable.

Alright. Stretching out—I'll try to be even more energetic.

Aha, so you're already stretching and yet the issues persist regardless. Honestly, if that's the case, maybe the root cause lies elsewhere—or perhaps your technique is just fundamentally flawed. 😁 Try focusing on how you're gripping the weight; is it firm, or are you holding it too loosely? More importantly, does it feel relaxed, or are you tensing up? And is there any actual pain involved?

I'm feeling way better now—no more cramping and zero pain. Heading to the gym since I missed my session earlier, so we'll see if things go south again... (so far, it's been fine, though the episodes are getting shorter every time)

picture haha, nope, it's not working 😁

So everyone’s obsessed with those photos lately... I get the hype, really, but I can't post mine—don't have a camera and won't have one for another three weeks. The only thing I could upload are shots from exactly a year ago, if that even matters.

Anyway, here's my day

Exercise: 20 min treadmill run, 10 min bike, 45 min Cindy

Food: 2 apples, a banana, trout, a massive salad (fresh cucumbers, lettuce, and spinach) and about 200g of low-fat cottage cheese. Water is all I'm drinking

Regarding that numbness in my fingers—they felt a little tingly again today around the 10-minute mark, but it was barely anything. Probably just some weird way my body is adjusting to actual exercise after five months of doing absolutely nothing and just overeating.

That stretching advice would actually be useful if this was happening after my workout, but I'm just running for ten minutes and then the tingling starts right in the middle of the run.

Your body is definitely low on magnesium, so honestly just go grab some effervescent tablets at Walgreens and take them every day for a few days and that tingling will stop because I've done it myself.

Exactly.
That's just how things go here.
We all just jump in and stir up some trouble.

Look, Steve, I'm not even looking for a doctor or anything. I didn't even ask if I should see one—it hasn't even crossed my mind to go because my feet start tingling after just 10 minutes of running. I was really just wondering if there's some kind of logical explanation for it.

Cramps are way more common than muscles "tingling." And usually, the fix is just magnesium and stretching (both when the cramp hits and after the session).

If it just goes away on its own, maybe just don't worry about it.

Of course it does! 😁

Anyway, here's my day today

Exercise: 20 min treadmill run, 10 min bike, 45 min Cindy

Food: 2 apples, a banana, trout, a huge salad (fresh cucumbers, lettuce, and spinach) and about 7 ounces of low-fat cottage cheese. Just water for drinks.

Don't tell me that's literally everything you ate?

We just gear up and get things done.

Don't tell me this is all you eat?

Oh yeah, I see 😁

Yeah, I'm trying to lose weight!

I'll post some pictures—they're from almost a year ago, but that was my look until month 9. They're pretty bad, honestly, but it's all I have... You guys can comment on them, and that's basically what I'm aiming to look like again soon 😉

As for the cramps, I know they happen, but I've never heard about numbness before. Whatever, it passes, so no big deal.

So, I'm gonna post some pictures... they're from just about a year ago, but honestly, that was how I looked until around month nine. The quality is pretty terrible, I know, but it's all I have right now... You guys can comment on them, and I'm really hoping to look like that again soon! 😉

We definitely can! Those photos are great!
I really love that third shot. 🙂
I always appreciate it when someone has the guts to share stuff like this.
You should totally join us. 😁

Your diet is actually pretty far from being ideal.
I mean, you might hit your goal with what you're eating now, but there just aren't enough calories in it.
The actual foods you're picking out are good choices, though.

Before I dive any deeper into advice, have you had a chance to read through the posts here about what you should be eating and the best ways to shed extra fat?

Alright, the photos look great, but since I already sent them over, give me some real feedback—you know, like "you're this kind of guy" or "these areas need work," or "you should focus on..." Can you? 🙂

Haha, thanks for the warm welcome then 😉

I did read it, but nothing too deep because I've got a massive pile of studying to do and just don't have time to dive into all the nutrition stuff right now... If you feel like it, just tell me what you'd change.

No worries at all! I'll probably jump back in later today once I actually have a second to breathe.
In the meantime, maybe you could walk me through what you ate yesterday and the day before? I mean, I find it hard to believe you're just living on trout every single day.
Unless, of course, you're some kind of clone of Sandy who’s obsessed with orchids. Honestly, I wouldn't even rule that out.
The more detail you can give me, the better!

So, why did you take that photo of your butt a year ago? Have you just been working up the nerve to finally post it here all this time?

Look, orchids are fine, but no—I don't just eat trout.

Alright, I already posted about yesterday, and I’ll get today’s update up at the end of the day once I actually know. As for the day before yesterday... honestly, I can't for the life of me remember exactly what happened. But here's the deal: from now on, I'm logging everything I eat and my exercise routine every single day. On March 30th, I'm hitting the scale and taking pictures so we can see how it's going..

Carl Taylor said:Why'd you take a photo of your ass a year ago? Were you just psyching yourself up to finally post it here?

I took it because I felt like it—idk, just wanted to see how it looked.

It wasn't about "gathering courage" or whatever—why would you even think that? Honestly, what’s the point of this kind of debate if you don't have anything actual to say about my diet, my exercise, or my progress since then? 👋

It’s not like I was "gathering courage" or anything—where did you even get that idea? Honestly, what is the point of this whole debate anyway? If you don't have anything constructive to say about my diet, my exercise routine, or even just a real comment on how much my physique has changed since before, then why are we even talking? 👋

03/11

Exercise: 30 mins on the treadmill, 20 mins on the bike, 50 crunches—plus some arm work with dumbbells and glute/lower back stuff using the stability ball

Food: A bowl of beef broth (no noodles), turkey steak, salad (cabbage + greens) with a bit of fresh cheese, a banana, an apple, some pumpkin seeds, and about 150g of low-fat cottage cheese
