Hey, don't go closing this thread yet 🙂
I basically envisioned using this space to track my progress—asking questions when I'm stuck, logging what I'm doing... maybe down the line, it could even serve as a guide or some motivation for someone else putting together their own routine

Look, I get it, everyone talks about legs, but I was specifically wondering which leg muscles we're actually hitting

It’s been exactly two weeks since I started my Exercise routine and eating right... I can see huge changes in my midsection, a little bit in my arms, and some more in my legs—though my legs still need a ton of work
I'm waiting until the one-month mark to check back in, so I'm not sure if the scale has moved much yet
The only thing is, I totally forgot to use the measuring tape, but I'll get on that today and post my measurements later

Food: turkey steak, salad (cabbage, bell pepper, tomato, greens), an apple, a small tuna salad, low-fat cottage cheese

Exercise: 35 min on the treadmill, 25 min on the bike, stability ball work for glutes, 3 sets of 10 reps for various dumbbell arm exercises, and 2 sets of either 15 or 20 reps for different ab moves

If anyone knows anything about this for the bike, that would be nice 🙂

Are your quads and calves getting a decent workout, if that's what you're asking about?

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at

So, what's the go-to for hitting those hamstrings (like the biceps femoris, semitendinosus, etc.)? Hill sprints? And what about glutes?

Hehe, you're basically riding a bike in reverse!!!
I mean, yeah—running is great, but if you're looking to work those hips... you've got all those killer machines at the gym, but if you want to just chill at home, just lie on your side. You know, those leg lifts? You totally get what I'm talking about. But honestly, overall, running is your bread and butter—you could even throw some aerobics into the mix!! It works wonders!

Food:
B: corn flakes with milk, 2 hard-boiled eggs
L: a pear
D: beef soup without noodles, 2 fillets, salad (tomato, lettuce, tomato, greens)
S: an apple
D: salad (same as above) and 2 chicken thighs
later on... half a Kinder egg and an apple

Exercise: Nothing—just a quick walk after lunch.

Today’s been a bit of a drag—feeling like I overate big time + didn't get any Exercise in, just felt totally sluggish all day... hopefully tomorrow's better🙂

Edit: Good for me—actually made it to the gym 🙂 Nothing crazy, just 35 mins on the bike, but hey, it felt good. Better than doing nothing...

Sophia Gonzalez89 said:Oh man, I guess I have another question—sorry if I'm asking this every single day! But, like, which muscles are actually working the most when you're on a stationary bike? (Is that even what it's called?) ... I just can't figure it out for the life of me..

Well, you can't really tell because it's not intense enough for you to actually feel it.
A stationary bike isn't really going to do much for building muscle mass.

...Today was just one of those rough days, honestly. I feel like I ate way too much stuff + I didn't get any Exercise in, so I've just felt totally sluggish all day.. hopefully tomorrow will be better🙂

Honestly, you didn't eat anything bad at all.

Food:
B: corn flakes with milk
L: squid black risotto, 2 pieces of fish (cod and some bluefish), small side salad
D: 5 rows of chocolate, a few Toffifees, and one of those little Rum cake packs. Yeah, I went a bit overboard—studying is absolutely killing me...
Might grab some cottage cheese later..

Exercise: Long walk with plenty of steep hiking/climbing

I had a rough couple of days—yesterday and the night before—just hit by this massive funk and an intense craving for sugar. I had zero motivation for Exercise yesterday. I stuck to a tuna salad and some low-fat cottage cheese, but then I absolutely crushed a mountain of sweets—two ice cream cones, two rum chocolates, and those Quickie cookies. Honestly, I don't know what came over me. Looking through the posts in this weight loss support group, I'm seeing people say this kind of thing actually happens...
Today I’m back on track and feeling great. Heading out to get my Exercise in and sticking strictly to the meal plan...
If anyone has any advice or can explain why this happens...

I’m not sure how much those "weight loss support" threads are actually going to help you.
That pile of sweets isn't nearly as huge as it feels in your head right now. I mean, unless those rum balls were somehow thirty ounces each. 😁
You're stressing out for no reason, really. If glavaš can manage to eat stuff like that while he's on his hunger strike, you can definitely handle a little slip-up here and there. And I guess as time goes on, you'll find better ways to deal with those mood swings.

Just pick up exactly where you left off three days ago and that's that. 👍

That pile of sweets isn't nearly as massive as it looks in your head. Unless we're talking about those giant 12-ounce candy bars from Hershey's, but still... 😁
You're just stressing out over nothing. If glavaš can handle it while he's on his hunger strike, you can manage a little bit here and there too. And eventually, you'll figure out better ways to deal with your moods besides raiding the pantry...

Just pick up right where you left off three days ago and call it a win. That's it. 👍

🤣 This honestly needs to be the official motto for the ispovjedaonica 😁.

Haha, well, you definitely put me in a better mood 😁
