So, I’ve been dealing with this swelling right by my armpit for like two months now—and ugh, it hurts! The pain just keeps spreading all the way down my arm and up into my shoulder... super annoying. I haven't felt any lumps or weird bumps though.
Any idea what could be going on??🙏

If I were in your shoes, I’d be looking for a doctor's advice instead... this isn't something you joke about.

So, have you actually noticed if this whole thing is tied to your cycle, like maybe it hits way harder on certain days? You know, specifically right before your period starts!

It’s definitely not cycle-related or anything. This whole thing started about two months ago when I was moving into my new place and doing all this heavy lifting...
I actually went to see my doctor and she did a full exam—she checked everything and said there aren't any lumps or bumps at all.
Plus, I had my entire blood panel done and everything came back totally perfect.
But honestly? It still hurts from time to time, and there's this swelling—it’s nothing huge, but it’s definitely there. Maybe I just strained something or have some muscle inflammation? I'm low-key freaking out though, because I don't even know what to ask for next—should I be asking for an ultrasound or what?!
On top of that, I have a desk job and my office chair is just terrible... my arm is basically stuck in a weird, awkward position all day long.
Thanks so much for the advice!

Look, if you actually tore a ligament during that move—which happens more often than people think—you’re looking at a recovery process that could drag on for months.
I messed up my wrist doing some home renovations a couple of months back, and honestly, it still flares up. I try to push through it as much as possible, though my doctor suggested I wear a brace just to force myself to actually take it easy for once.
Maybe see if you can adjust how you work so you aren't straining that arm, and definitely don't sleep on it or try lifting anything heavy.
It’ll get better, but you've just gotta be patient.
