Best deathcore and metalcore bands?

Anyone here actually into this specific subgenre of metal?
I recently stumbled upon this whole sound
A few bands I've been digging lately include Born of Osiris, Veil of Maya, and The Faceless

Got any recommendations for other bands playing in this style?

I’d definitely recommend checking out Killswitch Engage, those early Metallica albums, and Trivium. Also, maybe the last Mudvayne record if you're feeling it. 😍

Jos and 100 Slipknot, Brand New, Billie Eilish, Panic! At The Disco, Metallica(😍) are absolute essentials. You gotta check them out.

If we’re talking about classifying Converge, One King Down, Earth Crisis, or Hope Conspiracy under the metalcore or metallic hardcore umbrella... then yeah, I’d say they’re pretty damn good. I'd definitely give them my stamp of approval.
As for deathcore... 🤮 though, if this thread is actually targeting those messy, derivative blends of deathcore and metalcore—which seems obvious given the bands mentioned alongside that whole "new emo scene" crowd—then I’d just put a massive 🤮

I’m not really into deathcore, but I’ll definitely throw Trivium, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, and Killswitch Engage your way—and you absolutely have to check out Atreyu, Silent Civilian, and Bullet for My Valentine...

I’ll give credit to that Drumcorps guy. If we’re being technical, it falls under metalcore 😕
Honestly, I feel more of a connection to them than I ever did with Converge.
(And those Caliban types? They were just opening for Kreator. Honestly, they should be banned from playing in Chicago since they announced their tour... total nonsense 🙂)

Destroy the Runner (kind of similar to AILD, just with way more clean vocals—you should probably grab their old Saints of 2006 album since the new stuff is different)
Here I Come Falling (hardcore/metalcore)
The Ghost Inside (they're alright)
The Eyes of a Traitor (similar to the band above, maybe a bit less known but still good)
Heaven Shall Burn (metalcore/deathcore)
Random Conflict (metalcore/deathcore)
Still Remains (even though they broke up, they were an awesome band, also lots of clean vocals)
Underneath the Gun (Deathcore—I'm not really a huge fan of that genre personally, but these guys are only 17 years old 😁 )
Underoath (some pretty intense Metalcore here... )
Unearth (definitely give them a listen!)
Walls of Jericho (they have a female vocalist...)

Anyway, that's basically everything I have on my computer right now. Honestly, I could probably go on forever with other bands, but I can't think of them all off the top of my head...

Bring me the horizon. They're actually incredible in my opinion.

I'd definitely suggest checking out Pestilence's first three albums.
