There's a first time for everything, so we'll just have to wait and see if this happens... 😁

I’m all for a delay. This track just isn't meant for racing if the rain starts coming down hard.
If we keep going, we're just looking at collisions and spins... and once that happens, we'll be stuck under a 15-minute red flag or dealing with a 15-minute SC.
On a circuit like this, there's really nowhere to go to avoid a car that's already spun out.

They really are tough customers. Some cases are just a bit more complicated than others. 🤦🤦

Is the FIA currently taking any advice or input from UEFA at the moment? 🤣

It’s honestly kind of wild to me that a handful of the world's elite drivers seemingly can't handle a race when it actually starts raining. Like, I mean, just keeping the car under control at maybe 50-60% capacity, using wet tires, staying in lower gears... it shouldn't be that hard, right?
Are they really just that overrated, to the point where most regular people probably wouldn't even finish the race?

Honestly, Sebastian Vettel is just going through a massive identity crisis right now. 🤣

Douglas Roberts49 said:And why? Is it perhaps the driver at fault?

I suppose I get it, though—that whole crumble zone concept... almost like the car was designed to just split right down the middle, isn't it?

Jason Newman said:The onboard footage from Leclerc's car showed he wasn't pushing that hard.

And what does running someone over look like then? He definitely crossed the line.

cosmicmoose2 said:Honestly, with race cars being this massive and wide now, there's zero point in keeping Monaco on the calendar. Sure, rain might make things interesting, but not in a good way—it just turns everything into a demolition derby...

Any actual Formula 1 fan would be begging them to shrink the race cars instead of just cutting Monaco out entirely.

Shame on anyone backing Liberty Media.

Liberty Media is pure evil.

Back when Panis was absolutely tearing it up here, there were four different water stations along the trail

There was a time when we actually used to respect the sheer skill it took to handle a car in the pouring rain

what kind of 'wires' are we even talking about here—the ones making it such a pain for drivers to actually get into their cars?

Looks like it’s the driver's fault rather than Mick's this time

They handed Esteban Ocon a penalty. 🤣

Plack is going to be happy.

I honestly think they need to shrink these race cars down until they're basically what James Hunt used to pilot.

And then people actually pray for rain 🤮

Jbte, they’re keeping the paths closed inside the arena anyway, so there won't be an issue
