They used to bang into them all the time back in the day—so I don't see why they wouldn't now, especially since the cars are about 25% larger than they were a decade ago.
Every legendary driver has rattled those barriers, and if today's soft drivers won't, then who will?
Ayrton Senna during the '88 race, just out of nowhere
Michael Schumacher in '96 during a warm-up lap after taking pole,
Jenson Button in the Wehrlein 2017 era when he was swapping places with Alonso
It doesn't take much deep thinking to realize how easily you can tear through a safety barrier in Monaco.
It seems like none of you sheep have actually been to Monaco during a race weekend, yet here you are talking nonsense and acting like seasoned F1 experts.
In reality, you probably have zero connection to everyday life, let alone the world of racing.
Trolling again? 🤣🤣
EDIT: Look, regarding "everyday life" (and F1 for that matter), we're just lucky enough to be able to cover our mortgage here in the States and still have plenty left over for groceries and a decent meal.
On another note... that was a very intense FP3. I’m expecting a high-stakes qualifying session. Lots of tension and excitement ahead in qualifying.

They seemed to have some kind of incident every single race—and I don't just mean at Monaco, but just generally speaking.
Back in my day, Andrea de Cesaris was basically famous for making a mess of things every single F1 weekend.
In my era, Andrea de Cesaris was a living legend.

Honestly, Alonso is just trolling at this point; he clearly doesn't have anything better to do with his time. 😬

Preach.

So now they’ve told Charles Leclerc there isn't any rain coming in the next 20-30 minutes—as if that gives them any chance of surviving even half the race. There's definitely going to be a red flag in about an hour.
Instead, they’ll just sit around waiting for 15 hours before suspending the start, drifting around behind the tunnel where visibility is zero the second you emerge, and then—of course—they'll throw in a rolling start.

At this rate—this could drag on until 7 PM.

Lewis Hamilton is back at it with those "brilliant" tactical masterstrokes. First he’s basically ready to throw in the towel, and now he’s suddenly craving a pit stop to try and snatch the win at the finish line.

Is Sergio Perez actually going to take on Max Verstappen? I mean, is there even going to be any real fight left in him?

I mean, you just gotta be careful, you know? You don't just floor it blindly. Anything under 5 seconds is basically just a circus at this point...
