Why not just run the softer compound and actually give it a shot? I mean, sure, we’re at the Monaco GP, but isn't it better to take a calculated risk than to just settle for a mediocre fourth-place finish? It’s much more dignified than simply coasting along, wouldn't you agree? Besides, Max Verstappen was clearly pushing the limits right on that line.
