2009 Car Reveal

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally approaching—it's almost time for the first big reveals of the new cars. I figured I’d start this thread so we have a dedicated space to drop images and share our thoughts.

Now, just to keep things organized and prevent the page from becoming a total mess, I’m going to make a few small exceptions to our usual image rules for this specific thread:
- Please try to keep your images under 0.8 megapixels (something like 1024x768 works, though I’d personally recommend sticking to 800x600)
- You can include a maximum of four images per post.

Everything else follows our standard community guidelines. If you have a high-res photo that exceeds these limits, please just use links or thumbnails instead.

I’ve gotta say, I’m actually kind of shocked—it isn't even that bad. But man, looking at it from above? Absolutely hideous. I honestly don't get why they’re calling it an F60 when it looks more like the F2008 to me.

At least the snow on the track won't be an issue with these rally cars. 😁

Well, it's because it marks the 60th anniversary of Formula 1 itself (and its overall history, for that matter).☕

Keep an eye on those little slots on the sidepods—they’re likely there for cooling purposes or maybe just to help balance out the air pressure.

I honestly prefer this year's cars—they look much cleaner without all those extra wings, fins, and other unnecessary bits of aero clutter...

edit: I noticed Tata is on the car now too, sitting in what is probably the least attractive spot on any of them... I seriously don't get why Philip Morris insists on this sponsorship; the last time their product branding was actually visible was back in China in 2007. This barcode thing looks like absolute garbage.

All things considered, the car doesn't look half bad..

I have to admit—from this angle—that rear end looks pretty sharp!

...Look at this mess. They finally unveiled the car, and honestly, it’s just more of the same garbage we’ve come to expect from them.🤣🤣🤣
They haven't actually integrated anything that would put them anywhere near the Silver Arrows. This whole design seems like a forced reaction to the new FIA regulations rather than actual innovation. In my opinion, the car is an absolute disaster in the making. We’re going to see the truth very early in the season when they realize just how massive the gap is between this junk and a real racing machine...🤣

Yeah, and even if they put some random junk there that looks like a barcode, we'd all know it's just Marlboro anyway.

After 25 years of seeing Marlboro all over Ferraris, people just link Ferrari with Marlboro regardless of what’s actually painted on the car. So it's pure marketing, mistybear87, not just about the money.😉

Anyway, the car definitely looks better than that hideous hybrid Sauber from testing.
