Beyond that, if Alonso can just be slightly less than perfect compared to the rest of the field and still leave everyone else on the grid in the dust—which is pretty much what he pulled off during that final stretch last season—he’ll be fine. 😉
When I really sit back and think about it, I might actually prefer it if General Motors isn't totally dominant in 2009; there's something almost more satisfying about seeing them being just a tiny bit slower than the competition. 🙂
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out...
