So, I recently went through that whole insulin curve test thing... basically just pricking my finger for blood sugar checks, knocking back a glass of glucose, and then doing another round of testing two hours later to see how it all shook out...
So, I just got my lab results back... and honestly? I have absolutely zero clue what any of this actually means. It’s all just a bunch of random numbers and medical jargon that makes my head spin—I feel like I need a PhD just to figure out if I'm actually okay or if I should be panicking... 🤔 So, if anyone happens to know anything about this...😳 I really need some help here... anyone got a sec?

So, looking at the results above... insulin profile (0 min: ref.int. 42-188 pmol/l)... just a little something to chew on...
So, here’s my numbers for anyone interested—my fasting was sitting at 53.10 on the glucose strip... then I hit 210.00 about two hours later after dealing with a glucose case... definitely not exactly what I was hoping to see...

That’s just the classic OGTT—the old-school oral glucose tolerance test. I can't quite recall the exact numbers off the top of my head, especially when we're talking about those specific mmol/L units, but looking at this, it seems like everything is mostly in the clear.

I went through this exact same thing myself, and here’s how my results looked
insulin curve from my OGTT
0' 16.8
30' 109.3
60' 128.5
90' 141.9
120' 144.9 IU/ml

The doctor basically told me to stay far away from refined carbs since my C-peptide is sitting right in the middle of the healthy range (it was 736 pmol/L)
I should probably mention that my glucose levels are always hovering at the bottom end of the scale—sometimes they even dip a little below what they call the "normal" range

They were pulling blood from you every thirty minutes or something. Not me.
They actually told me pregnant women get their blood drawn constantly, while everyone else just gets it twice.

I still can't make heads or tails of my lab results—and I haven't even managed to swing by the doctor's office yet—but apparently, everyone in these threads is using completely different units of measurement...

Your results look fine... your insulin levels aren't even elevated...
