They aren't actually soft, though; they know exactly what they're doing, and since the Ferrari drivers can't seem to win on their own and Kimi is performing worse than he ever has, they need a little help keeping things interesting—honestly, I'm more surprised they didn't disqualify Lewis Hamilton and slap McM with a massive fine of tens of thousands of dollars.

I know how they operate. Been seeing it since the days of old-school construction crews.👍

Lewis Hamilton...😂...well said...let him keep trying those moves...🙂

Let's go, Felipe Massa...🤣

stormybadger8 said:So, looking at how things are shaking out... seriously, just think about it. By the time the season wraps up—yeah, you heard me right, right at the finish line—Felipe Massa is actually gonna pull it off and land in P4.😉 So you've got Kimi, Robert Kubica, and Lewis Hamilton all lined up ahead of him—god knows what order they're actually running in—but as for Felipe Massa being the top dog in the standings or even just the main man at Ferrari? Yeah, forget about it. Not happening.☕

Man, all these predictions about Felipe Massa and whatever else we've been hearing... we're already halfway through the season and honestly? Not a single one of you guys has hit the mark. Not even close.
Look, here's the deal: if you actually look at the numbers right now, Felipe Massa is easily one of the top drivers this season. Honestly? I’d go as far as saying he’s the best driver out there. Period.

I'm not gonna sit here and play the "what if" game, you know? That's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down. But man, if that freak accident hadn't happened just two laps before the finish... he would've been sitting pretty at the top of the standings right now. Just imagine.

And honestly, all that talk about Robert Kubica and Kimi Räikkönen? Just forget it. That’s some playground level stuff right there... total kid stuff.

Look, at the end of the day, you gotta go by the stats and the hard facts. It’s about what actually happens on the field, not just sitting around dreaming about how you wish the season was gonna play out. Facts don't care about your feelings, man.😉

Honestly, that whole crane situation was garbage, and today’s mess is garbage too. They always screw up, whether they're messing with McLaren or working against them... but this kind of stupidity? We've never seen anything quite this dumb before.

You talk about having actual ARGUMENTS, and then you post something like that. 🙄
Come on, tommy...

It’s obvious Robert Kubica is better than Felipe Massa, just like it's obvious Massa is better than everyone else. 🧐

Man, rustystag7...

Alright, fine, let’s play it this way—who actually has more wins than Felipe Massa???
Look, if we're being real about Massa, even accounting for that unlucky loss of 10 points—you know, that stroke of bad luck during his absolute best race where he was sitting 5 or 6 points ahead of everyone else—he still holds his own...

So, I'm not talking about "what if" scenarios or some imaginary timeline, I'm talking about the season as it actually happened right in front of us...

All that stuff about how you see every other driver ranking just below Massa? Yeah, that's a whole different conversation.

I mean, look, massive respect to Robert Kubica, Kimi Räikkönen, Vettel, and the rest of that crew, I really do. But right now, looking at finishing positions, Massa is easily one of the top drivers out there. Seriously, he's right up there in the thick of the title fight...

Those are my arguments. Your preference for Kimi? That's just personal opinion, totally separate from the facts...🙏

Oh, and hey, if you're gonna place bets or make claims, go all the way with it instead of just cherry-picking the parts that make you look right.

If we're talking about the actual points gap, factoring in that unlucky loss of 10 points, he was basically sitting 5 or 6 points ahead of everyone else during his best stretch...

Look, I’m not interested in playing "what if" games; I’m talking about the season as it actually unfolded on the track...

All those drivers you guys keep pointing to as being better than him? That’s just noise to me.

I have nothing against Robert Kubica, Kimi Räikkönen, or Vettel—they’re great, don't get me wrong—but right now, looking at where they finish races, Massa is easily one of the top tier drivers out there, maybe even the best when you consider he's right in the thick of that title fight...

Those are the facts, but if you want to insist Kimi is better, that's your business, though I won't be buying it...🙏

And hey, if you’re going to place bets, try betting on the whole damn game instead of just picking the parts that make you look right.

And don't forget to count the victories handed to him on a silver platter; he just picked up another one today.☕

I am officially done with Ferrari International Assistance, Scuderia Ferrari, Scuderia Ferarri, AlphaTauri, Fabio Gross, Luca di Montezemolo, Luca di Grasi, Felipe Massa, Luca Badoer, Jean Todt, Michele Alboreto, Matija Vujica, every single incompetent soul over at Fleet Street, Ambrosini, Maranello, those number one and number two race cars, the entire roster of Italian legends, the Roman Empire itself, and this absolute circus of a sport that I’ve somehow been foolish enough to follow for thirty-three conscious years—and frankly, I’m probably too stubborn to even stop watching after this.

Go Ferrari, damn them all.

I'm totally with you on this—today was just completely unnecessary...

Props for the race itself because it was absolutely killer, but seriously, we need some actual rule definitions....

Because, honestly, if I'm being objective here—and I can say that because I actually like Hamilton more than anyone else—I think Hamilton played it really shady there....

I mean, looking back at the replay, he basically gained his advantage by cutting through the chicane....

Look, if he was fast, he was fast, credit where it's due, but he's also been pinning people against the track for the last few races. Like, remember that wild race when he boxed both Massa and Picquet in and nobody said a word? Nothing.

Man, he really played them, but hey, life goes on. Today, Kimi totally played him for a fool by boxing him in perfectly, and then Lola goes and takes the shortcut through the forbidden zone....
And if we're talking about "letting him pass," he barely cleared half the race car. Come on guys, let's be real here. 🤷

To me, this feels exactly like what happened with Kovalainen and Robert Kubica during that first pass. Kovalainen was clearly faster, but Kubica shut the door right in his face, and that was that... What, should Kovalainen have just cut the chicane because of it???🤷

Arthur Doyle70 said:He’s still leading the pack when it comes to gifted wins, and honestly, he just picked up another one today.☕

Honestly, thank god they didn't hand out any more of those... I mean, one more or one less doesn't even matter at this point, but man, what a relief.
You know that old saying... life's just a roll of the dice, man. One minute you're up, the next you're down. It's like how some people win the lottery and then lose it all on bad bets in Vegas the following week. It's just how the world works. God gives, and God takes away. That's just the way it goes.

Man, I don't know what he was missing before, but they finally gave him exactly what he needed today. Now he’s right back where he belongs... totally level.

Honestly, it’d be way more fair if they just kept things 1:1... like, you know, without all those extra points being handed out. Just keep it simple.🙏
I'm just messing with you so you don't think I'm actually being serious.

rustystag7 said:Alright, let's settle this once and for all—who actually has more wins than Massa?
If we're looking at Massa, even if you factor in that lost 10-point swing, I guess if we agree his best race was just pure bad luck, he probably would have been sitting 5 or 6 points ahead of everyone else.

So, we aren't really talking about "what if" scenarios here—we're looking at the season as a whole.

I guess what I'm seeing is that every driver ahead of Massa is just another pair of gloves...

With all due respect to Kubica, Räikkönen, Vettel, and the rest of that crew, I have to say that Massa is performing at an incredible level right now. Looking at his positions toward the end of the race, he might actually be one of the best out there—if not the best. Honestly, he’s definitely right up there in the thick of the title fight.

Haaalooo! Am I speaking Swiss or what? 😛
Where does Lewis Hamilton even fit into all of this?

rustystag7 said:If you're going to quote someone, just go ahead and quote the whole thing instead of cherry-picking only the parts that suit your argument.

I'll set my own odds if I feel like it... just like you interpret terms your own way. The best driver.. 😛

you know how they say, what God gives, He can take away...

whatever he missed out on, he made up for today, so he's back where he started...

honestly, it would have been fairer if he walked away with nothing just to keep things even at 1:1...🙏
just kidding, don't go thinking I'm actually being serious here.

Yeah, I know you love to joke around, just like when you claim Felipe Massa is the greatest driver out there.😉 🤣🤣
