Thank God the GP weekend is finally kicking off—at least we'll actually have something decent to talk about here.😬
I'll probably grab some ☕ tomorrow morning around 10, then settle in with ESPN😎.

they barely had anything to change, really
Maybe for the lead driver?
Tuning the car to fit the driver's style.
New aero kits.
Ring a bell??😉😁

You conveniently (or maybe not 😁) forgot to mention adapting the car to the driver.
Sure, an adaptable driver is one thing, but legends are one thing and reality is quite another.

Roger Wright94 said:You conveniently left out (though I suspect you did it on purpose 😁) the part about the driver having to adapt to the car.
Sure, they call them adaptable drivers, but legends are one thing and the gritty reality of the cockpit is quite another.
And what are we supposed to say to the guy who actually thinks Ferrari was running the exact same car in 2007 as they were in 2006?🤷

Well, this looks promising enough to me.
The times might change, but I suspect the relationships will hold steady.

If I can just jump in for a second:
LET'S GO, Kimi!! 🎉🎉😘
honestly, I'm such a sucker for this...

Tuning the car specifically for one guy.
Fresh aero packages.
Sound familiar??😉😁
It sounds familiar to you, my friend...
But honestly, what does that even matter compared to the massive rule changes those other savages are pushing through.

I mean, compared to the absolute disaster stories other teams have gone through, this isn't even a big deal.
Just look at Renault, for instance... they went from being a championship-winning powerhouse to basically driving a four-wheeled trash can.😉

Arthur Doyle70 said:Take Renault, for instance... one minute you're looking at a championship-winning powerhouse, and the next, you're staring at a glorified heap of scrap metal on four wheels.😉
What can you even say at this point? McLaren always acts like they’re some kind of powerhouse, constantly talking a big game about their potential, yet they just can't seem to actually cross that finish line and secure a win. It's becoming a bit of a tired pattern, isn't it? Meanwhile, you look at Renault or...
It’s either absolute garbage or we’re looking at champions, and there really isn't any middle ground in this scenario. 😉😉

Renault is sitting at 2nd or 3rd in the second practice session 👍
If they keep this up, just wait until things actually matter...

But just a few posts ago, he was calling them total garbage😂
Those losers are gonna sweep the competition in Spain👍

Look, up until this last free practice session, Piquet had been finishing somewhere between 7th and 19th—that's ten times this season alone. But now? He just grabbed 2nd. That’s a massive jump in my book. And if we assume the car is actually decent—it's just been held back by a slower driver on the team—I’m calling it now: they are going to absolutely rake in points in Spain. 😉

And if we consider the idea that the car is only as good as the driver who manages to extract the most out of it, I might just predict they'll be harvesting plenty of points over in Spain. 😉
Are you referring to Alonso's 3rd place finish in this scenario?🤷
Otherwise:
Because of the differing strategies used, the final standings ended up looking a bit unusual. The Force India drivers held onto those top two spots during the first forty minutes of the free practice. Adrian Sutil led initially, though he was quickly overtaken for the lead by Giancarlo Fisichella.
So, I suppose that doesn't necessarily mean much.😉

Well, they're doing that split coverage again🙄 ,which usually means you get absolutely nothing from the formula racing and nothing from the football either😠 ,though it might be available online at http://www2.myp2p.eu/competition.php...ne=motorsports maybe give that a shot😉
