Not looking good for the kid.🀣

Stumbled upon this. The photo isn't great, but that chant? It’s a certified stadium anthem. Not much else to say. That's it.πŸ˜πŸ‘

And honestly, the guy is a total legendβ€”you know, that tall dude who’s always tearing it up on the basketball court? I’ve seen him play for the local varsity squad more times than I can count. Anyway, that’s my main reason for staying sober, because let’s be real, I’m already crazy enough as it is without any help!🀷

The main thing is, he's basically just repeating what Scott Collins82 said earlier... πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ™

Where did that legend go, man... it's such a shame he doesn't hang out on this forum anymore...😒

Scott Collins82 has apparently grown up in the meantimeβ€”quite an achievement... This is my first time back on this forum since my last post, and I’ve already been called 😍. Honestly, Larry Rivera83, I hope you found that thread worth digging up; I practically rolled on the floor laughing, and I think I might actually be a contender for Post of the Year. Maybe they’ll give me an award instead of labeling me the source of all the Yankees players' problems. You won't be hearing any nonsense like that from me... at least not today. There's plenty of time for tomorrow. rofl:

At least I managed to get a few laughs out of you allβ€”a nice change of pace from the usual insults and constant nitpicking on this board...β˜•

but then again🀣😍🀣

Focus on your own group, which is currently bottom-tier, instead of worrying about how other groupsβ€”who are lightyears ahead of yoursβ€”should act.

πŸ™‚

I had to stir things up a bit. Everything got boring, so I wanted to wake people up, you know..
Whoever isn't insecure about South Boston 😁 I am right there with you, just like you are with us.😁

And it’s not the absolute bottom. Before the holidays, certain groups went home to their own people, so they left the city to us, including the stands. You'll see when spring rolls around after Easter, we'll be at our peak..πŸ‘ I'm not telling anyone how to behave. You took my words out of context. You guys certainly have "class"..😁

Spider-Man said:P.S. Until other groups stop wandering around town on game days taking selfies with banners in downtown (Bronx), or entering the city without backup and attacking you in your own territory (like the bus station), or until your own crew does that (since you called us out), maybe tone down the drama in Miami, okay?

Why all the fuss? It's all for the fans.. read a few pages back, that's the second part of my answer..πŸ˜‰

p.s. I'm answering you here so I don't get chewed out by the mods for ruining the thread over there..😁

Hey everyone, does anyone here happen to rememberβ€”or maybe even took part inβ€”that big bike tour trip down to Savannah... I think it was back in '96 or '97 during the game?

A photo from that would be absolutely incredible, but if not, even just a few details would be great. I know they had everything organized starting from the fountains, though honestly, it felt like more than half of them didn't even make it all the way to Savannah...πŸ€£πŸ™

It’s probably this photo..πŸ˜‰

Regarding that away game, I heard a ridiculous story. Some kid from the training camp stole a bike in Savannah (so imagine how long it took him just to get to the coast, let alone all the way down to Savannah). That's the one guy I know who actually made it down there, though he definitely chose a different way home. 😁

Also, another fun factβ€”I think it's the same guy. During the trip to NYC, he didn't have the patience to wait for the train to depart for the coast, so he decided to start it himself..🀣

There's also a crazy story about the "real deal" involving Savannah. A group headed out by boat on Friday night and didn't make it back to the coast until Monday morning..🀣

Those are truly masterstroke moves. I have nothing but respect for that kind of execution, especially compared to today's shady, unmarked van tactics.πŸ™

I guess I’m just sitting here thinking about how much things have changed lately, and honestly, it feels like we’re all just trying to find our footing in a world that moves way too fast sometimes... I was reading some stuff earlier and it got me wondering if anyone else feels that same sense of uncertainty, you know? It’s like everything is shifting under our feet, one day you think you have a handle on things and then suddenly the whole landscape looks different, almost like when you're watching a movie and the plot takes a turn you never saw coming... anyway, I don't mean to ramble, it's just been on my mind quite a bit lately...
Andrew White32 said:I can't see any image attached here... I think something might have gone wrong with the upload or maybe the link just didn't catch properly, which happens more often than you'd think when you're trying to share stuff online... if you could try sending that again, I'd really love to take a look at what you were trying to show us...

It’s probably this picture right here...πŸ˜‰

That's that... πŸ™πŸ‘

I mean, I was just sitting there thinking about how much everything changes, you know? It’s like when you look back at how things used to be versus how they are now, and you realize that nothing stays still for long... even when you think you have a handle on it. I was reading what Andrew White32 said earlier, and it really got me spiraling down a bit of a rabbit hole regarding how we perceive these shifts in our everyday lives... it's funny how one small comment can trigger such a long chain of thought, almost like how a single ripple in a pond eventually reaches the far shore if you give it enough time... anyway, I suppose I'm just rambling, but there's something worth considering in the way we all try to find stability in a world that seems to be constantly shifting under our feet...
Andrew White32 said:Anyway, I actually heard this hilarious story about that away game... there was this one kid from the training camp who ended up stealing a bike in Savannah, and man, you wouldn't believe how much of a struggle it was just for him to make it all the way down to Miami, let alone try to get back... I heard he eventually managed to pull it off and reach the coast, but when it came time to head back home, he definitely decided on a completely different route... 😁

πŸ™πŸ™

I was just sitting here thinking about how much everything changes when you stop looking at the surface and start digging into the actual substance of things... it’s funny how we get caught up in the noise, isn't it? I mean, you see someone like Andrew White32 posting something, and you immediately want to react, but then you realize that most of what we argue about online is just static... just white noise that doesn't really lead anywhere if you don't take a breath first... anyway, I was reading through some old threads and it struck me how much more intentional we could be if we just slowed down... life moves too fast as it is, especially here in the States where everyone is always rushing toward the next big thing without even checking if they're headed in the right direction... it makes you wonder if we're all just running on a treadmill, thinking we're making progress while staying exactly where we started... maybe that's just the way it is now, though...
Andrew White32 said:Anyway, just another little tidbit for you all, though I’m pretty convinced we’re talking about the exact same guy here... he was visiting Chicago recently and apparently, he just didn't have the patience to sit around waiting for the Amtrak to pull out of the station toward Milwaukee, so he decided he'd just take matters into his own hands and get the train moving himself...🀣

Where are those losers from Savannah 😁 all eating and drinking? I hope they're having fun, though knowing the Red Sox Nation, they’re probably overdoing it..πŸ™‚
Anyway, does anyone actually know the backstory behind this away game??

😁 Someone broke into the zoo and spray-painted an elephant with Red Sox Nation elephant 🀣 That triggered one of the most "meticulous" searches for rival fans in their cityβ€”hunting down Yankees supporters through downtown apartments. The group would systematically knock on doors of total strangers, and once someone opened up, they’d just ask, "Good day, do you or your son support the Yankees?" πŸ˜‚ If the answer was yes, the hosts were left with a memory they'd never forget 😁🀣

But I was actually thinking about the story related to this photo. Does anyone know what's going on with those guys on the street? 😁😁
(It can't be that people are this clueless about their own group's history. I know most of the ones who probably don't even visit this forum know, but everyone else??..) 😁 πŸ‘

I don't know what they were performing, but the crew rolled into town in the morning with zero cash. It didn't take them long to remember the drill, so they grabbed a cardboard box and, acting like the best street performers out there, decided to entertain the locals 😁 to make a quick buck..🀣
Since the Bronx wasn't showing up and someone had to step up, it ended up being the local kids. Legend has it that a guy in blue was checking everyone's ID, but the best part was when he was asked what his job wasβ€”he just said, "fan." πŸ™πŸ™
Man, those were the days. Those away games were legendary.. πŸ™πŸ™ 🀣

Another detail from those old road trips to Philly:

p.s. They probably had a wild night before that. Is there any better way to sober up than getting tossed into a dumpster? 😁
