Hold up, are you actually trying to lecture me right now? I’m over here doing the legwork just to track down a single photo, and you're giving me attitude. Seriously, if you're so concerned, just head over to the Armadillo website and browse their galleries until you're blue in the face. While you're at it, maybe try picking up a few pointers from the pros...

For me, the history of the banner is what matters. Forget the aesthetics.
Take some of our own banners; they’ve been remade recently, but they kept the exact same look as the originals.
It’s about tradition and legacy, not chasing fashion trends.

Which flags are you even talking about, Mertojak, Baterijelo?!

And a question for the Armada fans: since what year have they been carrying that white "Armada" strike flag?

Absolute jokes, all of them.

with the 4c, the two eagles, and those "Russian and Mexican" references🙄
The only ones who are actual hyenas are a few, but honestly, the rest is just terrible—nothing even comes close to the standards set by BBB or Torac. In general, your whole scene regarding banners is a mess, but since that isn't exactly some vital metric anyway, I don't see any reason to get worked up over my comment; after all, it’s just my own personal take on how things look.

I mean, maybe you should ask me what I actually think about those 4c flags first, and then we can really get into it. Personally, I feel like making a bunch of identical flags is a bit much, though I suppose having a certain number of them makes sense given the current situation, which we all have our own opinions on, I guess. This specific look is just a snapshot of the moment, and you really have to understand the underlying concept behind a stadium crowd, especially in a case like this with the Yankees fans. You really have to distinguish between a basic rag of a flag and the ones that are actually aesthetically pleasing, where the difference mostly boils down to subtle nuances and individual taste.

Paul Taylor2 said:Just stay out of this, honestly. Your fencing looks absolutely terrible—those massive 65-foot tarps and those banners scattered all over the place... please, just look at your own backyard first.

Well, I suppose those "65-foot tarps" actually represent our most prominent supporter groups, and their scale is really quite proportional to the size of the stadium we play in and the overall prestige of the club.
I mean, things are a bit different when we're playing away games, where they tend to use different dimensions entirely.
And, if you ask me, telling someone to "look at their own backyard" is really just that classic, tired response people give when they feel powerless to actually change anything.

If you guys are supposed to be the best, then our local scene looks more like a third-world disaster. What’s even the point of making thirty identical flags? Wouldn't it be better if every flag was unique down to the last detail?
I still prefer the cohort 😉☕

Honestly, I think I actually prefer the Cohort. 😉☕

I feel you, man. I really do. Honestly, if my people hadn't pulled this off, I would’ve walked away from them in a heartbeat. Just straight up done with them. Total waste of time.😁 😉
And who says flags aren't different? Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. Look, man, give me a break—it's not like we have a million different combinations to work with anyway.☕

Quick question for the guys rocking that armada style—since when have you guys been flying that white strike flag?

Ever since that first official road trip to Podgorica, it’s been the same old story. It's just tradition at this point.😉

That's actually a replica of the group's very first official banner from back in 1987. They switched to the new one in 2003.

The only hyenas out there are a few specific groups; everything else is just garbage. They aren't even in the same league as BBB or Torac. Honestly, your whole scene when it comes to banners is a joke, but since that’s not even a real benchmark for anything, I don't see why anyone’s getting worked up over my comment. It’s just how I see things, end of story.

Even with those street gangs, the crews running the banner shows aren't even from Belgrade

Small towns like Omiš or Županja... they have a certain way of existing that you just don't find in the bigger hubs... quiet, predictable, almost stagnant...

You have the Ultra Boys, the Brigades, and the Heroes... but I suspect the neighborhood crews are running on that same scheme too. Though, honestly, I'm not entirely certain...

Actually, they don't really fly their own specific flags; instead, they tend to use special ones specifically for away games. It seems like the 4S crowd mostly dominates the smaller satellite cities further inland, and there's one group out there using a Belgrade-style crest along with a few other outfits, depending on which match is happening and where the stadium is located.

Hehe, why even bother trying to build something different from the rest? Why not just stick to the same mold? Everyone should be exactly the same, right, boss?

Yo, just copy-pasted this from another forum...

"Those smaller groups are all outside of NYC, like the ones from the Midwest or the South (Chicago Ultras, Nashville, Vallejo Ultras, Kragujevac Ultras, St. Petersburg Ultras, Vršac Ultras, Bačka Palanka Family, Šabac Ultras, Zvečan Ultras, etc.) and even some overseas (Ultra Clan, OB, Podgorica Ultras, Bar Ultras, etc.).

The five main NYC groups (Brigati, BBRS, Heroes, Ultras, Ultra Boys) have their own separate banners—some specifically for home games at Marakanas and others for when they travel.

This whole thing kicked off a couple of seasons ago. If I remember right, the guys from Valjevo were the first to swap out their old banners for a new design. The reception in the stands was killer, so then all the other groups started doing similar stuff where the base is a cross with emblems, and then each group adds a little something next to their city name. Usually, it’s just the city seal, but there are others too (like three angry dogs for the Chicago Ultras, a US knight for the Zvečan Ultras, or General Živojin Mišić for the Valjevo crew). It keeps things from looking like a total mess in the stands; now all the non-NYC groups have these unified banners, and man, it looks legit."

And while we're on the subject, why did the Army start only bringing that one 'main assault' banner to away games?

Andrew White32 said:Haha, why bother trying to make anything stand out from the other groups? We might as well all just follow the same mold and act as one, right boss?

Navy style, period. 👍

Why don't the other groups do the exact same thing? What makes you guys any different then?
I’m just stating my opinion; yours happens to be different, and that’s fine. To me, this obsession feels unnecessary because when a group prioritizes a specific visual identity, it starts to become more important than everything else.
What are we going to do, hire a professional designer to create our banners or choreograph our moves?
What's the point of making thirty identical flags? Is it because if you're out there waving them around, it won't feel like such a waste since there are plenty more just like it?
