Regarding the checkerboard—that was actually the Red Sox's first legitimate crest. The "1911" date isn't even part of that original design, just some apostrophes. And since you're bringing up the whistle thing, you probably have one sitting in your living room right now—probably something your grandma or grandpa kept as a souvenir. The historic Red Sox logo features the checkerboard; it’s the one and only original. The Lakers never used it.

So what if they put the star on there? It’s our history. It just serves as a little reminder of how we used to give them hell back in the day. Honestly, seeing that today actually brought a smile to my face. hehehe

LAFC and LA Galaxy are both equally despised, depending on who you ask... Personally, I can't stand Galaxy any more than the others, and honestly, BBB and the Black Knights are both equally much of a headache to me.. 😁

Though, I gotta admit, the Black Knights are killing it lately, while BBB is a total mess right now..
