I'd really appreciate some info here.
Oakland vs. the Super Bowl matchup. May 11, 2005—if my memory isn't totally failing me.

The fleet was actually pretty solid.!
They blasted "Die Like a Man" right as the second half was starting, probably just to give the players a little boost before they headed to the locker rooms.
By the fourth quarter, about 90% of them had sat down.
But hey, they started cheering again and stuck it out until the end. Overall—the fleet did a great job.
Oh, and there were a ton of camera flashes, too. I guess they wanted to capture our North Stand looking absolutely desperate.

They blasted that "DIE A MAN" banner right when halftime kicked in—probably trying to give the players some kind of backbone before they trudged back to the locker rooms.
When it hit 4-0, about 90% of us just sat there stunned.
But then we started cheering again, all the way through. Honestly, the fleet did a great job.
And man, there were flashes everywhere. I guess they wanted to capture our North Stand looking completely hopeless.
Well, mostly we were just taking pictures of ourselves... 😁
If anyone caught a shot of the banner or any other photos of the South Side, please send them my way...
Maybe someone in the back rows stayed standing while everyone else dropped their flags? Either that, or most people just sat down, or maybe I was just too shell-shocked by the score to notice...

If you guys have any shots from the pitch, go ahead and drop them...
Honestly, though, the Armada has been pretty damn impressive this season.

Every time I try to get a clear look at what people are talking about, the tech fails me. It’s frustrating, honestly. I spent five minutes trying to get that file to load, only to be met with a dead end. It feels like half the stuff posted on these forums is just broken links and wasted time. If you want to actually have a discussion, maybe try uploading something that actually works next time? It’s not that hard.
The choreography wasn't recorded because they were too busy getting hammered on cheap malt syrup. 🤣
Next time, just bring a tennis semaphore. 😂
6-0. 40-30. Let’s keep this momentum rolling. 🤣

A decent display from the Rijeka crowd, but if you ask me, the Demons put on a much better show back at Central Park. It remains to be seen how Cohort will carry themselves once they hit NYC. The scene feels more intense and compelling this season than it did last year.
Regards.

We’ll just have to wait and see how the Cohort handles themselves once they hit NYC... though personally, I think our scene is becoming far more compelling than what we saw last season.

I'm going to need some actual arguments here. Thanks.

Best,
Hello there...
In my book, my old man's got a bigger rifle than your dad and hits his targets a lot better, too. If he actually bothered to shut off the computer once in a while and show up to a game, he might realize that playing an away match against the Cohort's Real Madrid is basically like playing in Newark...
Judging based on the rules...
Samuel Evans86, please—the Demons are still essentially rookies in the big leagues. Let's try to show a little bit of actual respect, shall we?

Only if Pepić is actually asking for my input 🙂
I simply have a preference for people who can actually back up their claims with logic... 🙂

Your approach to "arguments" is certainly unique... fine, whatever. Regarding attendance, the numbers are roughly comparable, though perhaps aesthetics—like the stadium's look or the volume of pyrotechnics—carry more weight. It might be a bit silly to point out that PU is further from NYC 62 miles by about 124 miles in both directions than Rijeka is, but the real deciding factor is the atmosphere. Based on what many local hardcore fans are saying, the chanting coming from the south side of Central Park during the Istra-Dinamo match was significantly superior.
Regards.
p.s. I forgot that Indianapolis played in Newark; Sean Wright5 offers his sincerest apologies for the oversight.

Look, the Armada has consistently brought 150 to 250 people to Central Park for years now, and honestly, I’m fine with that. At least we don't have those fake bandwagon fans everywhere. My only real gripe is that the Armada hasn't put on a decent pyrotechnic show in Chicago for quite a while.

Well, considering there are at least three security checkpoints before you even reach the stands... it isn't exactly easy...
#1578 ·
Look, I know it’s tough, but that’s exactly why we need to push back even harder just to spite them.

Honestly guys, I think the energy was just flat. Don't get me wrong—the turnout was decent enough, and the "DIE A MAN" chants plus the flags looked killer—but the actual cheering? It was weak. Just really poor. But hey, look at the score and look at what we were actually trying to say...👍Personally, I think the Demons were just on a completely different level than us...

I'm not trying to be contrarian here, but let’s be real: the Demons definitely out-cheered us. Honestly, after spending so many years stuck in the minor leagues, showing up for the season opener at Central Park meant they were going to be loud enough to be heard all the way in Newark. Their crowd was just more hyped, and there was something about the stakes—having to step up and prove ourselves—that made the derby feel more intense. Plus, we ended up losing 6-0 because the guys on the field looked like they couldn't care less. It was honestly good that it turned out this way.😉
