David Sullivan4 said:I’m no psychic, but I’ve got a feeling—if you show up at a security guard's station looking like a silverback gorilla at 1 AM holding a pass for the club (especially when the NYSE is packed), the best they'll offer you is an insult or maybe just trampling you right outside the building.

That definitely isn't true. If you have a pass, you can walk in whenever you want. I've never heard of anyone with a valid pass getting turned away or stuck outside the NYSE.

Yeah... maybe I didn't phrase that quite right. What I meant was that my experiences with the security there have been all over the map—from totally fine to completely idiotic. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if what I said in my last post actually happened...

Wait, that wasn't intentional 😕

No, I just had a momentary lapse in judgment. It's definitely the side effect of studying non-stop for several days straight.👎

It’s gonna be loud enough to shake the walls of your tiny apartment—two cards for you cheapskates, just two damn cards
.
Catch me live this Friday after 6 PM on 100.5 or just hit the stream 🙂

Kevin Chavez3 said:Are we looking at a late-night entry, maybe after midnight? Or is everyone expecting a full house from the jump? I was thinking about swinging by for a drink once the paperwork is signed—maybe grab a Budweiser after Petra finishes tearing me apart. 🙂

To reiterate: it’s better to head toward the factory early and secure your ticket via the NYSE. That way, you can actually enjoy yourself without constantly worrying about whether tickets will still be available. 🙂

I originally came over here to weigh in on the Japan interest, but I suppose I’ve wandered into the wrong thread. 😳

No big deal—I might just show up tomorrow too. 👋

I suppose I’ll be joining you all eventually. It’s become a necessity at this point.😁

Hey, is there any kind soul out there willing to grab three tickets for me? I'll make sure to pay you back in cash as soon as I get home. 🙂

Does anyone from the IEEE crowd know if a women's jacket was left behind in the locker room?

stresse was actually on the list back in September during the demo, and they wouldn't let her in because she didn't have a photo ID. So, she went out, bought a membership card, and then they *still* gave her a hard time—basically giving her crap about why she was showing up again after they already told her "no." 🙂 But hey, she managed to get in eventually anyway, 😁

I honestly don't think I have ever encountered a more rude or obnoxious group of security guards in my entire life than those guys at the IEEE event last night. 🤮

It’s such a shame that we live in a country where club managers and event organizers don't seem to care about hiring decent people—instead, they let absolute Neanderthals man the doors. Honestly, the guys were lucky I had a few drinks and was feeling a bit too spirited to stay focused; otherwise, I probably would have run them over with my car afterwards. 😁

Just disgusting.

Man, I just remembered there was some kind of thing coming from Horrors, but honestly, I was so completely wasted—(and I’d definitely had a few rounds of bourbon before that, too)—that my memory is basically a total blank. Anyway, 😍
