Smoking and alcoholism

I’m a pretty light smoker—just a little bit here and there—and then I might grab a couple of beers over the weekend, and that’s about it.

I smoke and drink 🙂, though honestly, I only drink on the weekends—and even then, less and less lately since I'm driving🙂

Well, once I get home from work... it's hard to say. If I've been stuck on the phone all day, that first beer just slides right down, and usually, I'm onto a second one pretty quickly... if I'm feeling up for it, I'll keep going...

Lately, I haven't really been drinking on the weekends because my sister manages to knock back a few beers by the time I get home from work, so it feels like a bit of a guilt trip... since I've already had a few myself, there's no point in trying to drive anyway.😠

Not one of them, since we're getting ready for a new baby to arrive 😍
otherwise, I don't mind having a drink and lighting up when I'm out with friends, but that’s just a few cigarettes with coffee or cocktails—maybe one to five a day... and honestly, it would be better if I quit right now, because I absolutely loathe being a smoker...

I smoked like a chimney from age 18 until I was 25, and thank God I quit when I did because I seriously dodged a bullet.

I drink a fair amount—definitely above average, though I’d say I’m still within the realm of "normal" (I appreciate a good drink, but I’m certainly not an addict 🙂). I guess what one person considers standard, another might find excessive, and so on... 😁
As for smoking, I wouldn't even call myself a smoker, and honestly, most people don't see me that way either. I'll pick up some cigarettes every now and then, maybe more often during certain stretches, but it's never a major part of my regular budget.
