Best fitness equipment websites?

I’m looking for links to companies that sell fitness equipment regardless of where they are located in the US—specifically treadmills.

Which treadmill brands or high-end fitness equipment manufacturers would you recommend so I don't end up buying a total lemon?

I am hunting for a high-quality, professional-grade treadmill and I'm prepared to drop about $1,500–$2,200 on it—but honestly, everything I’ve checked out in Indianapolis (which is the biggest city near me) has been a complete disappointment, both in terms of build quality and price.

Technogym is pretty much the gold standard for commercial gym equipment—though you probably don't need that level of overkill. If I were you, I'd look into Peloton instead. They make solid stuff, it won't break the bank, and I actually own a few of their pieces myself...

I’ve got a Peloton elliptical myself and I am totally loving it! But man, this guy is specifically hunting for *professional-grade* equipment and sounds ready to drop some serious cash on it. Even though Peloton is great, it's really more for home use rather than what he's looking for... 😉

I have a Peloton elliptical (alpha570), and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. My wife and I absolutely beat the hell out of it for less than three months. Let’s just say our average workout session was about an hour a day. Within no time, the pedals warped, and after just a week, it started making enough racket that the entire neighborhood could tell exactly when we were working out.

Naturally, we filed a claim and got a replacement. Fast forward another three months, and the pedal has already given up the ghost, even though the machine hasn't been used much at all. It feels like these things are engineered more to serve as expensive clothes racks than actual fitness equipment. That's why I'm currently hunting for something built to last.

I've got my eye on an XLT 1200 from Gold's Gym, which retails for around $1,100, and I've spotted some Technogym models too, but I can't seem to find any transparent pricing anywhere.😢

I suppose I wonder which advertisements 😲
