In my case, the sterilization was a total disaster because the doctor completely botched the procedure; instead of tying the tubes, he just sliced them right through. I actually tried to sue them for malpractice, but honestly, it was a complete waste of time 🙄

Then, three years ago, after I had my third kid via C-section, we decided to go ahead with the sterilization right then and there. That was the plan (back when I was still technically "open" 😍), mostly because a fourth pregnancy would have been a massive, high-stakes risk. Just to be clear, all three of my pregnancies ended in C-sections, which the doctors accepted as a perfectly valid and legitimate reason to do this. I agreed to it—it made the surgery run a bit longer, but otherwise, everything seemed fine. My period finally returned about three months postpartum, but honestly, it feels like my PMS has gone through the roof. I’ve been dealing with these intense mood swings—one minute I'm crying, the next I'm picking fights—and it’s definitely more intense than what I used to deal with before.
