Spiral fracture of the humerus

About a month ago, I suffered a spiral fracture in my humerus—total nightmare—and during the surgery, they found out a nerve was damaged because the bone actually pierced it. Now I’m stuck wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar and how long it actually takes for a nerve to heal?

It really depends on the extent of the nerve trauma and the precision of the surgical repair.
Assuming everything went smoothly, the outcome mostly rests on your own resilience and how well you respond to physical therapy.
I would estimate about a year to be a reasonable timeframe...
