Help interpreting these lab results?

Hey everyone. I’ve been stuck with a fever hovering around 104°F for the last three days straight. It’s been brutal. I’ve already dragged myself to my doctor three times and ended up hitting the ER because nothing—and I mean absolutely nothing—was touching this fever. By the third visit, my doctor finally sent me off to the hospital for some serious testing. I’ve dropped the links to my blood work, urine results, and the official diagnosis from the infectious disease specialist below. Honestly, none of the docs seem to have a clue what’s actually going on with me, so I’m hoping there’s someone here who actually knows their stuff medically and can make sense of these numbers? Just a heads up, the fever is finally starting to dip a little today, but my throat is starting to feel even more raw and painful than before.

Wait, how is nobody sure about this? The diagnosis is right there in black and white—it clearly says why you were handed those antibiotics and Tylenol.

My blood work results are kind of a blurry mess, and the urine test was just... "expected," I guess.

Look, I'm just trying to figure out what kind of sickness we're even dealing with here. Honestly, the folks at the hospital and even my own doctor seem totally stumped, like they're just spinning their wheels and don't have a clue, so I was hoping someone in this group might at least point me in the right direction.

By the way, they've got me taking Clindamycin 3 times a day.

What does this whole Exudative tonsillopharyngitis thing actually mean, specifically?
I'm dealing with the same nightmare—my bloodwork is basically unreadable because the printout from the lab looks like it was made on a broken typewriter from the 70s.

When I said "nobody's sure," I just meant the doctors were giving me that skeptical, "we think so, but whatever" kind of look when they dropped the diagnosis. They're sending me back this Tuesday for liver function tests and a full blood panel, so hopefully then they'll actually have a straight answer for once.

It shows liver involvement if you aren't experiencing any other symptoms. Infectious mononucleosis is the first thing that comes to mind, though I'm not entirely convinced that fits the clinical picture here

I’ve got a bad feeling about the FBI. (Gotta double-check the FBI database... by the way, those numbers might be inflated, 😳) anyway, what was that you meant by "not really"? 😁

Alright, here’s a quick update on how things are going.

The fever hasn't been hitting me nearly as hard these last couple of days. The highest I managed to hit was 100.7, and even then, it was just a tiny spike—super easy to bring down with some Tylenol, which is a massive relief compared to those first three days when I felt like I was burning up and nothing could touch it.
Now, if I even feel warm at all, it’s just hovering around that 99-ish range.

I’m heading back to the lab this Tuesday for more bloodwork: SE, CBC, AST, ALT, and LDH. Honestly, I haven't a clue what half of those acronyms actually mean. 🙂

Regarding the whole mono situation, I was reading online that it usually makes all your lymph nodes swell up, but mine are only swollen right in my neck area (not even sure if it's my tonsils or just some glands). That spot always gets swollen whenever I catch a nasty cold or the flu anyway.

I also read that mono can cause your liver and spleen to enlarge. Does that usually come with pain? I'm asking because I’m not feeling any discomfort or aching in my stomach area whatsoever.

And get this—when my doctor looked over my results, she started debating with her resident about how one specific value didn't really point toward mono. Now, which value was it? Your guess is as good as mine. 🙂 I'm a total medical amateur.

Anyway, I can say I'm feeling a bit better overall now.
Really hoping it’s not infectious mononucleosis.
