You connect to the wires coming off the connector (Molex)—specifically just two wires: the black one (0) and the red one (+5V). I’m pretty sure the red one is 5V—read that again—but honestly, I can't be 100% certain... (please feel free to correct me if I've got this wrong).

@wiredmarlin5/">@@wiredmarlin5 - Man, just thinking back to when I had to wire up everything that came with that potentiometer: those four temperature sensor leads, the four lines for each fan (which took me three whole days), and then that extra Molex for the potentiometer itself.

It’s honestly such a massive headache... and on top of all that, I’ve still got my USB, eSATA, and God knows what other random cables to deal with... but I just couldn't bring myself to tackle the whole thing because I’d have to unplug everything from the power supply first... if I had actually realized what a total nightmare the wiring would be, I probably wouldn't have even bothered buying it in the first place...😁

But once you actually get everything dialed in and see the end result, man, it looks incredible. It was totally worth the effort.

The only downside, if you ask me, is the sheer amount of cabling required—even though they’re all necessary—because it just kills the clean look of the case. All those extra wires just sitting there, swaying around like tall grass in a breeze, really messes with the aesthetic.

Does anyone know of a program that actually measures power draw from the PSU?

There’s really no way to measure that through software alone, so you're basically out of luck there...

Does swapping out the radiator on a graphics card void the warranty?

Yeah, unless you swap the old cooler back in before sending it to service and hope they don't notice.

@ Casey Williams5 - what skin are you running on PC Modding? I've got this Vista Black one, but the forum is crawling—it's super laggy when I try to scroll. Freek just fixed my setup, so I really don't want to mess with it again unless I know which ones actually work—I'd rather not look like an idiot by breaking it all over again.

Man, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, but after a little while, things just start lagging and stuttering...

Just let me know whenever you feel like writing back—because if I start poking around blindly again, I’m just going to end up making a mess of things since I have no clue which one is actually broken.

The 8800GT is basically toast... you know... just thought I'd shake things up a bit with a little 🙂

It's actually pretty funny how much this reminds me of home... my three-year-old nephew has a rug almost exactly like that one in his playroom back in Chicago... 😁
