Where exactly are you planning to mount that neon light? Take a few photos so we can actually see what you're talking about.

It’s there... here are the shots.

To be perfectly honest, that window of yours is far too small... or rather, the transparent section itself is just too limited. You could install a neon light, sure, but it won't carry much weight if there isn't enough surface area to show it off.
You might consider picking up an aftermarket side panel; they aren't exactly a massive investment. I spent a whole day browsing at Apple $12... honestly, it’s a trivial expense!
Furthermore, once those custom panels are installed, the visibility of the neon will increase significantly, which will greatly enhance both the clarity and the overall aesthetic impact of the lighting effect 😉

You could easily just pick up an aftermarket side panel since they aren't exactly breaking the bank... I mean, I spent a whole day looking at options over at Apple$12... it’s honestly peanuts!!!!
And those clear panels are basically available right after the launch... which would significantly boost the visibility of the neon itself and heighten the overall aesthetic effect😉

Believe me, it isn't... because when you look at the actual photo, the setup is much larger and more impressive than you think, especially since that window takes up nearly half the entire side panel

Look, I’ll tell you what—you’re going to end up regretting that decision. Honestly, you’re overthinking this when neon lights are incredibly cheap these days. You can easily pick up a set for maybe ten bucks, and most of them even come with a two-year warranty included.

So, when exactly did you pick up that new rig, Raymond Hernandez14?

That’s a seriously sharp-looking case, though.

It has been roughly a week, perhaps two, since Joseph Gonzalez18 posted... I will be uploading the photos in a few days.
If you all concur 😉😉

I have one photo on my phone where the quality is somewhat lacking, but if you all are interested in seeing it immediately... well, here it is! I'll give it a shot.

Look, folks, I will be the first to admit this isn't exactly a gourmet meal, and visually speaking, it’s far from a masterpiece... however, when hunger truly takes hold, this will certainly do the trick.😁😁
More updates to follow later today.

It isn't HAL 9000, but it's pretty good 👏

OT Can you even see the monitor? Isn't that neon light glaring too much in your eyes? 😬

Are you even looking at the monitor? Isn't that fluorescent light blinding you? 😬

Thanks, 🙏 Edward Peterson70. Regarding the issue of staring at the screen... the glare isn't an issue because I can simply turn those fluorescent lights off 😁... so that's a non-issue... more images will be coming soon... I just need to upload them to Google Photos 🙂

Tell me, is there actually anything left inside that case that you haven't already stripped out? I mean, seriously, you’ve basically gutted the whole thing 😬

Thought I’d jump back in here and share an update...
A few weeks back, I finished some minor PC Modding tweaks, but honestly, I just haven't had the bandwidth to get the photos uploaded.
Since I finally ditched the DVD drive—which was a total waste of space in my build—I ended up with this perfect little pocket of room that I decided to put to good use. P
I also went ahead and stripped out the Molex splitter (since I had an extra one lying around after removing the drive), which made the internal cable management look way cleaner. It actually improved the airflow too; that front intake (the red one in picture 4) and the RGB setup (as you can see in picture 1) now drive the primary airflow through the chassis much more effectively.

(I’m planning to drop some new hardware into the rig in about a week or so; I just need to get through finals week first 🙂 )

Not a single thing remains, my friend... just a hollow metal skeleton now. My next step involves cutting out some panels to make room for glass inserts. I have double-checked all the measurements against my blueprints, so everything should align perfectly once the components arrive. Currently, I am just waiting on the glass itself. This isn't going to be your standard pane, either; the glazier recommended reinforced ballistic glass for this build. Apparently, the lead time for a custom order coming from Italy is about two to three weeks, so I am stuck in limbo for a bit.😁😁😁😁

As soon as it arrives, I will take some high-quality photos and post them right here on the forum!
Sounds good... let's give this beast a proper christening when it's done.🙂

I have been giving this some thought... I’m looking at that Fortron power supply and thinking how sharp it would look with a blue 120mm LED fan installed. However, there are two specific hurdles holding me back from pulling the trigger. First, regarding this standard fan:

will it actually fit in the space currently occupied by the stock cooler, or is the chassis geometry shaped differently? Has anyone attempted a similar swap or does anyone happen to know the dimensions?
The second issue is the connectivity. Is it a direct connection to the power supply unit, or does it utilize a 3 or 4-pin connector—much like the current cooler, which uses a 3-pin setup for speed control?

I’ve swapped out both a 12cm fan and an 8cm one in two different power supplies. They’re identical to the stock fans inside the units; the only difference is you don't deal with any connectors because they're soldered directly onto the PCB and then covered in silicone. It makes getting to the solder points a total pain. You basically have to grab some pliers and a pair of wire strippers, then just bridge the matching colored terminals together... you'll figure it out.
