Well, alright... I suppose I’ll give it a shot... but am I really going to feel the regret of hacking away at a brand-new power supply, even if it's just two DVI wires? 😁
Ugh... but man, I want to get that cooler installed so badly!!!!
Moro, you're going to have to cook up some kind of workaround!!!

==> what exactly is this part at the end?

That is simply a Molex Pass-through power connector.
If you plug it into a Molex lead, you can then use that same connection for something else.

No, you completely misunderstood my point regarding
Manhattan Cold Cathode Lamp, case LED diode, UV black

I have no clue what that actually is—is it an LED or just some... I honestly don't even know. 🤷

I'm not entirely sure what it is—it looks like ice, or maybe it's just... I honestly have no idea. 🤷

It's just a standard fluorescent bulb.

Greetings.
I have a specific inquiry regarding hardware modification...
I am planning to replace the standard incandescent indicator bulb currently signaling HDD activity with a high-efficiency LED diode. My question pertains to the exact voltage supplied by the motherboard to the indicator circuit; I need to ensure I purchase a component with the correct voltage rating to prevent damage. If anyone happens to possess this technical specification or could direct me toward a reliable resource or datasheet, I would be most grateful.🙂

I have absolutely no clue how it actually works, but I know for a fact it does! XD Just grab the one from the igniter, unglue the old one, swap in this new one, and you're good to go; you honestly can't mess this up.

Does anyone happen to have a direct link or perhaps some kind of comprehensive tutorial regarding PC case modding? I would certainly appreciate the assistance.

This link isn't exactly on-topic, but it describes one absolute nightmare of a build... though most of the rest is actually decent stuff for newbies. I'm looking at some guy who basically set a massive pile of cash on fire trying to build this machine. There’s some pretty wild hardware info in there, too. The site is getting a facelift soon, so just start sending people over there so you don't have to waste your breath explaining the basics to everyone constantly.

Look, there’s plenty of content out there, but most of it isn't actually a tutorial—it’s just someone showing off what they built. Personally, I wouldn't find much value in scouring the web for some custom chassis someone else slapped together just to rip off their ideas for my own rig; that's not really the point. When you actually design something from scratch yourself, the process becomes rewarding because you end up with something truly original instead of a cheap imitation. => It won't be FAKE. 👍

@Jeremy Myers69/">@@Jeremy Myers69; it’s incredibly unprofessional to wander through threads just to advertise yourself like that. If that’s what you want to do, put the link in your signature and contribute something meaningful to the conversation instead of spamming. Most people will naturally click a link in a signature if they're interested.

It’s been a minute since anyone’s posted anything worthwhile on here, so I figured I’d drop by and show off my little mini-mod project.
The original case
Prep work phase one
Prep work phase two
Finally done at least for the first stage🙂
First things first, I tore the whole case down and hit it with four coats of metallic black, then gave the widowmaker component two layers of paint.
I hand-fitted some plexiglass onto the side panel, but I actually ran out of space on my PC because of the Sonic game installation😠
and honestly, I'm not crazy enough to go around cutting down heatpipes myself.😂
This is how it looked paired up with the old motherboard; now I just have to put in some actual work on the cable management, so we'll see how it all pans out.

Regarding the Sonic, nobody forced you to pick that specific setup, and honestly, I’ll give you $19 just to end this debate: if you hate looking at it, just swap in some plexiglass. 😁
Have you even considered adding some color inside the chassis?

The whole case is painted in this deep metallic black, both inside and out. I actually had my heart set on going with a red theme, but
my motherboard decided to kick the bucket right when I was planning it (it was an ASUS red one😍), and since I had to swap it out for a blue Gigabyte instead, the colors just wouldn't have vibed together.
As for the Sonica, there's no way I'm selling it like this; honestly, it’s actually better now because the airflow is way improved.😁

I don't know what you guys are thinking about ----- if you just want a modded computer, honestly, just smash it with a two-pound hammer like I did. If there are removable panels, TAKE THEM OFF. Then just shove four green neon tubes inside. I don't have a photo because my last setup was black with silver accents. I ended up using a hammer to punch holes in the front and top since I couldn't get the panels off. Just make sure everything stays within the original dimensions.

Since when are patients being discharged from the local psychiatric ward and allowed onto internet forums? I have been wondering about this for quite some time.🤷

I don't usually post here, but smashing a case just to slap four neon strips on it is like some guy in a beat-up Civic cranking the bass until the windows rattle... all just to make sure everyone hears those obnoxious subwoofers from three blocks away...

It’s basically their version of a reward system. If they behave, they get granted maybe 30 minutes of internet access per day—just enough of a carrot to motivate them to keep playing nice with the rest of the crazies.

Done well, at least the first phase is 🙂
First, I stripped the case down and applied four coats of metallic black paint, then finished the widow component with two coats.
I hand-fitted the plexiglass on the side panel, but I can't upload the photo to my computer because of Sonic 😠
and I'm certainly not crazy enough to go cutting the heatpipes.😂
This is how it looked with the old motherboard; now I just need to put some work into the cable management, and we'll see how things progress.

We actually have the same case😁
