This movie felt weird to me, but honestly, it wasn't even that boring.
It was more silly and annoying in certain spots, though fun if you just tune out some of the nonsense.

Take Parasite, for example. I started watching it once and just gave up. I had this feeling like I already knew exactly what the whole movie was going to be, right down to the tone. I hate that feeling. I get restless and lose my patience when I can see it coming.😁

With Everything Everywhere All at Once, at least things aren't that predictable. You're actually curious to see what kind of absurdity they'll pull next.
As for those American movies obsessed with class struggle and social divides, they don't have much left to throw at you besides that tired old trope... 100% recycled ideas 🕺that might fly over there, but in the US, we've seen these cliches a thousand times before.

With Rick and Morty, you actually get moments where it's worth sitting through, which is more than I can say for this movie.

Watched it yesterday, and man, it’s honestly one of the best and most original movies ever made.
It isn't about the metaverse or any of those other nonsense topics people keep bringing up in the comments here. It isn't even an action movie, despite how much action it seems to have on the surface; it's really just about love and acceptance.

You really need to sit down and watch the whole thing from start to finish without distractions, because that first hour is total chaos... but there's a reason for that. Trying to watch it in bits and pieces (which I guess has become a huge thing lately) is totally pointless. A film is like a painting—you can't just look at half a painting and claim you've seen it. 🙂
My advice: just dive in headfirst. It's such a miracle of a film.

Maybe sometimes, but most of the time you can just tell where a movie is heading. Take that trash Aftersun—after maybe 15 minutes, you already know it’s going to be a slow burn with zero action and nothing worth sitting through. There's no harm in just turning it off—unless you're a naive sucker like me, struggling to finish it while hoping for some kind of wow moment (the only "wow" was how much of a stupid film it was)

Look, Parasite was the absolute peak for me—maybe the best Oscar winner we've seen in a long while.

But this one? Well, it started off strong enough, but then the movie just lost its way—and honestly, I lost it right along with it.
I found it impossible to follow the plot if I wasn't already fully locked in, though looking at the comments, apparently everyone felt the same way and people are claiming that's what makes the film "tense" and "special." Give me a break.

The ending actually works, though: the mother-daughter dynamic is always messy.

But again, going back to the middle and the bulk of the runtime...
Sure, it's weird—I've never seen anything quite like it—so it gave me a similar vibe to Enter the Void, except the cinematography in that one actually worked for me way more.

I don't know, I'm totally torn. It’s a bit pretentious, if we're being real.

One thing that's pretty clear from our comments here is that everyone experiences movies in such different ways... which is totally fine, I guess. 🙂

btw. But when it comes to dropping labels like "užasan film" or "Trešin na kvadrat" or "genijalan film".... you should probably at least watch the movie first.
