Frizzy hair help!

I woke up today and my hair was just standing on end 😱 . It was sticking to my face, totally electrified... honestly a nightmare. I tried applying some leave-in cream, then used a bit of wax to shape it, and eventually just cemented everything down with hairspray 😍... I guess I’m wondering how you ladies deal with this, if you even run into these kinds of issues at all? Back when I had long hair, I could just pull it back into a ponytail or a braid or whatever, but now that I’ve gone short, there isn't much left to work with...

I pick up that anti-frizz spray from Avon—it actually works.

Vaseline shimmer glow spray (it's got a pretty straightforward formula... just some Vitamin E, alcohol, and a handful of other essentials; doesn't leave you feeling tacky at all; 30-$12)

Honestly, I feel like I’ve been plugged directly into a high-voltage outlet. Everything is just flying everywhere. Whether I try to put my hair in a blowout style or just leave it straight, it's total chaos...
