No worries, I can definitely record all of that for you. And I’ll make sure to grab those old Hanica albums too 😁—honestly, they’re a perfect match for those headphones. You really should check out Azure Ray (plus Orenda Fink's solo stuff), maybe some Charlotte Martin, or even Alison Crowe 🤔

btw has anyone checked out Carina Round yet? What's your take? I listened to a few songs and then practically coerced someone into downloading her entire discography for me, but I ended up getting into a massive argument with that person (the friend, not Carina herself!) in the middle of it, so... yeah, no Carina for me since I'm currently avoiding that person 😬

Carina Round is absolutely brilliant. She has this intense Patti Smith energy mixed with such deep sensibility—it's quite the combination 😍

I find myself recommending Loreena McKennitt’s album "The Visitors." It is saturated with those chilling, medieval atmospheres—full of Celtic and Irish motifs that leave you feeling as though you’ve been transported to some ancient, freezing, and somber castle in the Scottish Highlands. The track "Greensleeves" is included, which was composed by Henry VIII or some such figure—the melody is traditional, after all—but alongside several other folk standards, Loreena herself penned and arranged many of the pieces. It is a phenomenal record: effortless, yet deeply distinctive. You might even recognize "Bonnie Portmore," which featured in the film *Highlander* during that scene where Lambert goes sprinting through the highlands with a sword.
It is far better to listen to something possessing actual soul than those garish, overproduced, plastic hybrids offered by acts like Within Temptation. Their recent work feels incredibly cheap to me; everything is forced and amplified to an absurd degree, from the vocals to those strained metal fusions layered with quasi-orchestral sounds that, frankly, amount to nothing more than inexpensive filler... well, what am I rambling about? I suppose I am just venting.😬
