But let’s be realistic: this was the Middle Ages, an era where people were being executed left and right. Human life back then held far less value than the life of a chicken at a Tyson Foods processing plant today.
Generally speaking, the melody is lovely, but it isn't actually his; the lyrics feel a bit kitschy, clearly lacking the authenticity of that period. I suspect this is the same Henry who pursued countless women yet failed to produce a male heir—and naturally, he placed the blame squarely on the women. Had he possessed even a rudimentary understanding of modern genetics, he might have realized that he was the actual source of the issue. ☕

🎉 Well, I'm certainly game, and I suspect dusty will want to serve as our consultants too. My only hesitation is the potential for political correctness within the listening room. Personally, I find it a bit reductive to pigeonhole music under a gendered lens, 😁 especially when the artists themselves would likely recoil at such arbitrary classifications.

One would hope we have moved past such primal savagery.
How on earth did we pivot from discussing Loreena McKennitt to talking about decapitations?
Hasn't it been nearly a decade since Loreena released her last album? If my memory serves me correctly—and I do try to keep it sharp—it has certainly felt that long. It makes one wonder, doesn't it? Why the prolonged silence?

By that, I mean setting specific categories so that neither male nor female performers are excluded if they fit the criteria we intentionally establish 😛. But hey, you're the boss, so if you're against it, just say the word. Honestly, I think that would be a far more interesting concept to work on than some standard Tori/Björk/PJ listening party. Björk isn't really my thing... though she still seems like a better bet than Fiona, because if I pick Fiona, nobody's going to show up 😬. Now I just hope Dust is more obsessed with Björk than the two of us are... and that they have her whole discography, since I don't own any of it 😁
