Just another mindless thread 🙄

And if you actually GIVE A DAMN about what I think—though I highly doubt it—you might want to go back and read rališin's first post 🙏

If you actually care to know what I think—though I highly doubt it—go ahead and read Rališin's first post.🙏

Really? I was actually expecting a cynical comment from you. Something peak malicious.

See how easy it is to come up with a perfect little comeback when you actually try... 🙂
I don't know why I can't seem to get annoyed by R&B, maybe you have an idea... 😬

Look, between the absolute mess she’s making and the way she’s playing like there’s sand in her cleats—honestly, the only thing missing is her having a complete meltdown right in front of us. I can't even begin to help at this point, and frankly, I don't want to. If you know, you know. 😉

Punch the people who listen to it?

Besides that, I don't think I've ever even had to deal with country music...🤔

Maybe it's because you haven't flown into JFK Airport lately... 🙂
Or maybe you were just riding around in a New York or Chicago taxi?

Much appreciated.

Or were you just riding in some local taxi from New York or Chicago?

Neither.

Where on earth would I get taxi money?

Is that how you see it—luxury rides and high-end music? 😁

It's all good. It doesn't actually bug me that much...
But why the attitude, if you don't mind me asking?

Well, look, if nothing else, at least we can use Thompson and Skoro to fight back against the populists.

I kind of enjoy being the center of attention in every room I walk into.

The bottom line? You can’t force change on what the masses actually like; you just document it. All this whining from the "cultured" crowd about how everything is going downhill? It’s getting old fast. ☕

Jason Chavez32 is into that too—but he’s kind of an idiot... 🙄
You, though—you're just totally checked out.
Why is that?

Hey everyone, listen up. 😁 If anyone’s having issues with Sandra King86, just reach out to me directly. 🙂

Look, folk music isn't the issue. The issue is stupid people, but nobody has come up with an efficient way to deal with that yet. And these articles? They're garbage.

On the flip side, I’m way less bothered by people listening to country than those who only stick to classical because they think it's "timeless," or people who exclusively blast world music because they want to seem urban and alternative, or die-hard punk fans because they're anti-establishment. Why don't we label them primitive? That's what I want to know.

Edit: I've never heard country at a dance, or even in a taxi, not even in NYC. Artists like Taylor Swift or Katy Perry aren't exactly country players.

Well, if that's how it goes—if those girls are already mainstream—then my whole attempt at being a bad influence is pretty much pointless...
I’m not saying I’m "more cultured" than anyone else—and trust me, I'm not trying to sound arrogant here... I really do respect alternative ways of expressing yourself, and I totally get that kitsch can actually be its own kind of art, but for me, trashy pop music just doesn't make the cut in my book...
What even counts as a social issue these days... it's all just so messy... It basically just captures how bleak the vibe is around here—portraying all these weird stereotypes that end up being the exact blueprint for our kids...
Girls want to be "influencers" — you know, those little socialite types — and guys? Forget being athletes... they just want to be mobsters... 😛
