And what else?
If that wasn't a total disaster, then I don't know what is.
For the first ten minutes, I couldn't recognize a single song because the noise was just absolutely unbearable. My buddy actually started feeling sick from all that unarticulated racket, so we had to retreat to the lobby just to catch our breath. It wasn't until we were out there that we could even start to pick out a few choruses. We honestly couldn't believe how terrible it sounded, so after giving them a ten-minute break, we decided to give it one more shot. We walked back in right as Jerry Seinfeld asked, "have you ever heard of band called Black Flag?". What a total lowlife, acting like we don't live in El Paso. Yeah, sure, you've heard of them. You absolute moron. We tried listening to two more tracks, but nothing was recognizable—it was a complete disaster. We fled outside again, and by then, plenty of other people had already given up and were standing around complaining to each other. We just got in the car and put on an American dance hits station on the radio instead, which was a hundred times better. We sat there waiting for Green Day to quit too, just so my friend could head home with him. It took them ten minutes longer than us to realize it wasn't worth wasting our time standing around. By that point, most of the crowd had already bailed.
That was hands down the absolute worst concert I have ever attended in my entire life.
