I just caught a snippet of "It's Gonna Be Okay" and that "Don't Eat Hair" song—or whatever it’s called.
Honestly, it was pretty cringey.
Now I’m just bracing myself for the inevitable moment they pop up on the radio again.

But people actually listen to this stuff. What’s the deal?

When there’s a total drought of good music, you just listen to whatever is available.

Where did those golden days go? Fio used to be incredible, and Washington, D.C. was on fire. I miss the era of mother, Haustor-Rundek, and Pips—back when they were actually fun instead of just a bunch of sob stories.

Fair enough, Hladno Pivo keeps getting better, while Let 3 thankfully stayed stuck in that swamp of bad taste.

Everything just went down the drain...🙄

Honestly, it was pretty cringe.
I’m genuinely worried I might stumble upon those tracks on the radio again.

Well, if you're truly feeling embarrassed...

I don't mean to be rude, but Haris Dzinovic was actually good on the Let 3 andjeoski pjev album. Let 3 is garbage. 🙂

So this superstar walks into Kset, trailed by the sighs of thirsty girls and the pure, unadulterated hatred in the eyes of the guys. "Why did he make it when my band is still playing dive bars?"—that's what those glares are screaming while he just tries to order a beer. They serve him some watered-down crap after making him wait forever, treating him like total trash with this condescending attitude. Some tall guy nonchalantly blows smoke right in his face, then drops his cigarette and crushes it under his boot, basically showing him exactly how much they want to stomp him out too. Everyone around him is talking way too loud just to drown out the music, and every time he moves to a different part of the club, the sound guy tweaks the levels just to make it sound even worse than the last spot. Feeling totally unwelcome, he decides to bail. He heads toward the restroom, but really he's aiming for the exit, only to run straight into a wall of cruel indie snobs who refuse to budge, just staring him down with pure contempt. "Sellout"—it echoes in his head, even though nobody actually said it out loud... Taking advantage of a split second where someone isn't looking, he ducks under an elbow and manages to slip through the doors, feeling their eyes burning holes in his back. Out in front of Kset, completely distracted, he steps right into a muddy puddle and then straight into a pile of dog crap. Never again, he swears to himself. Never again...

👍 I'm with you there. But man, their second-to-last album was actually incredible...

"Why did he make it when my band didn't?"—those bitter looks shoot through him while he waits to order a beer. With a disdainful shrug, as if he’s nothing more than trash, they serve him a watered-down mess after a grueling wait. Some tall guy nonchalantly blows smoke right in his face, then drops his cigarette and crushes it underfoot—a subtle, nasty hint at what they’d rather do to him. Everyone nearby starts talking extra loud just to drown out the music, and as he moves through the club, the sound tech intentionally tweaks the levels to make the audio even worse than the venue he just left. Feeling completely unwelcome, he decides to bail; he heads toward the restroom, but really just wants the exit, only to run into a wall of cruel indie snobs who refuse to budge, staring him down with pure contempt. "Sellout"—the thought echoes in his fragile mind, even though nobody actually said it aloud... Seizing a split second of distraction, he slips under someone's elbow and manages to bolt through the doors, feeling those burning stares piercing his back. Out in front of Kset, distracted and rattled, he steps first into a muddy puddle and then straight into dog crap. Never again, he swears to himself, never again...

The one before that, and everything preceding it... but that was a lifetime ago. Now, things have changed. 😢

It’s like they're all thinking, "Why did he make it when my band is still playing garages?"—just shooting him those venomous looks while he waits to order a beer. Then, with this total air of superiority, as if he were nothing more than literal trash, they serve him some watered-down, pathetic excuse for a drink after making him wait forever... Some tall guy just nonchalantly blows smoke right in his face, then drops his cigarette and crushes it underfoot—a clear, silent message of what they’d rather do to him, I suppose. Everyone around him starts talking extra loud, just to drown out the music, and as soon as he shifts to a different corner of the club, the sound guy tweaks the levels to make it sound even worse than the venue he just left. Feeling completely unwelcome, he decides to bail—he heads toward the restroom, or really, just tries to get out—but he runs straight into a wall of cruel indie snobs who refuse to budge, just staring him down with pure contempt. "Sellout"—it echoes through his fragile little mind, even though nobody actually said it out loud... Seizing a split second of distraction, he slips under someone's elbow and manages to bolt through the doors, feeling those stares burning into his back. Out in front of the venue, totally frazzled, he steps right into a muddy puddle, and then—to top it all off—directly into dog crap. Never again, he swears to himself... never again...

Man, I can't even... Those big-shot publishers, Netflix, and those massive publishing houses have totally cornered the market and snatched up all the readers. They basically made a polite little request for me to just stay out of the writing game, and being a bit tipsy at the time, I actually promised them I would. So now I'm stuck—I can't go back on my word, and I’m not about that life where I just disregard my own principles. I'm a man of my word, not some mindless corporate drone...

It’s kind of like how Halien used to say, "I’d rather let tradition burn than lose myself!"
So yeah, just get to work.

The worst part is watching idiots like Ante Perković and all those other bloated critics act like it’s some kind of masterpiece.
