Personal Top Lists & Rankings

Forget the movies
The biggest highlight of my day was definitely

My six custom effects finally arrived in the mail
Number two on the list: Ice Ice Cube took out two guys and then returned the child to the grandmother of the victimized girl—all just two days after being wounded himself
Law and order rules

Facts.
But L&O misses the point: criminal intent. Vincent D'Onofrio plays the smartest cop out there. He takes one look at a crime scene and already knows everything. I don't even see why he needs a partner...

Ice Ice Cube rules! Bodycount my ass!

I haven't caught this particular crime drama yet, but if it follows the usual Law & Order formula, I imagine it’ll be a solid watch.

The top rappers who got their start on ICE

Ice Cube (strictly because of the predator themes)
Ice T (because he’s a total legend)

Even the Death Certificate is actually pretty solid.

I once had a bit of a scrap with svjetlovod Zelengaj... 😬

Nara said:the absolute worst movies I’ve ever wasted money on for God knows why:

1. 1. Picasso 2. bon Collector 3. ispod površina 4. lovac 😱
2. Inception 🙂

😲 oh, Nara

1. I actually fell asleep during that one—literally.
2. It was so embarrassing—my old college roommates were sobbing their eyes out, so unfortunately, I couldn't just sleep through it...

Four times I've slept through a movie in a theater:
1. 1. Picasso 2. bon Collector 3. ispod površina 4. lovac
2. 1. Picasso 2. bon Collector 3. ispod površina 4. lovac
3. 1. Picasso 2. bon Collector 3. ispod površina 4. lovac
4. 1. Picasso 2. bon Collector 3. ispod površina 4. lovac

Today's number one lyric:
1. Morrissey - On the Streets I Ran:

And when the palmist said, 'One Thursday you will be dead,' I said, 'No, not me, this cannot be. Dear God, take him, take them, take anyone. The stillborn, the newborn, the infirm—take anyone. Take people from Chicago, Illinois, just spare me!'

Spot on. Though I’d probably end up picking the same stuff, throwing in Days, Last of the Steam Powered Trains, Death of a Clown, and Tired of Waiting for You...

Wait, hold up, my bad. I'm tripping.
Where's Apeman at?
You can't have a list without Apeman... 😠

Where the hell is Elvis Presley?
The list just doesn't feel right without Elvis Presley... 😠

Exactly. And now we’re missing: "Days," "David Watts," "I'm Not Like Everybody Else," "You Really Got Me," and "Well Respected Man"... there's always something left out when you try to cram everything into these cramped Top 5 lists.

electro cute said:Anyone remember playing that old-school PC game? I think it was called Ski Jump? Honestly, it’s still the best sports sim ever made!

I played it—it was solid. 🙂

dmj said:It's hard to put into words, but watching Funaki... you just knew you were seeing something special. It felt close to perfection. Even if he didn't nail the longest jump, there was this sense that his performance alone was its own kind of reward.

🙂

Funaki 🙏 🙏

Yeah, that game was played in basically every high school computer lab back in the day. 🙏 🙏

heheheh, I knew there were still some Ski Jump enthusiasts out there. And Funaki is a total legend, no doubt about it.

You're clearly a newcomer to this whole scene... People only start obsessing over jumps every few dozen pages on this thread. There's an entire section for other sports, a dedicated site just for Nykaenen, plus all the reports and photos floating around our usual blogs...
