A strawberry and vanilla donut 😍

Oh man, is that from that new bakery opening up on the corner? I see their posters everywhere on my commute home. That strawberry one sounds great, and those apple cinnamon ones too, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet... Have you tried the others?

What on earth is going on? 😲

I actually dreamed about those donuts last night even though I've never even seen them 🤣

What is this forum doing to people? 😢

I don't even know where to start with this one. It’s just one of those days where everything feels slightly off, you know? Like, I was sitting there thinking about how much things have changed lately, and honestly, it's kind of wild if you really sit down and process it... anyway, I digress. The point is, people need to stop overcomplicating things. We spend so much energy worrying about the small stuff when the big picture is staring us right in the face. It's like watching a slow-motion train wreck and trying to critique the conductor's uniform instead of just getting off the tracks. Just a thought... maybe it's just me... kaže:
Wait, what...? 😲

On the way back, we're hanging out at the airport, right? We look up at the menu in the restaurant and see they're charging like seven bucks for a beer... and honestly, we just looked at each other like, "Oh, hey, that's actually not even that bad..."
Look, if you’re planning a trip to Russia, my number one piece of advice is this: don't go drinking at train stations or inside hotels. Even if the bar looks fancy and has decent seating, just steer clear of those places...
Two draft Budweisers at the Moscow train station set us back 500 rubles, which is already ridiculous. Then we hit up that standing-room-only bar across the way where we grabbed two sandwiches each, some fries—honestly, they were gross, zero actual potato flavor—some beer, a solid Starbucks, water for the train ride, and a Fanta for the Russian guy driving us, all for another 400 rubles between us. It makes absolutely no sense...
I mean, there’s probably some dive bar out there serving cheap local brews that tourists wouldn't even dream of stepping foot in. Places where the drinks are dirt cheap. I just haven't had the time to go hunting for them, and honestly, I'm not even sure if it's actually a smart move to look...
Moscow is easily one of the most expensive cities on the planet, if you actually look at the data...

What should I call it?

Calvin?

I actually wanted to adopt a bald eagle, but man, those fees were insane...
But hey, they had better t-shirts, you know, the ones that actually said "I adopted a bald eagle."

But honestly? They had much better t-shirts available—the ones that actually said "I adopted a White Stork" right on the front.

Personally, I'd rather go with: "I adopted an FBI agent" 😬

Tried the other flavors too—apple cinnamon is solid, but when that strawberry hits the vanilla... mmmm... 😍

It’s just a shame they’re so small and pricey 😢

I’ve been thinking—really giving it some serious thought—that I might just adopt Nutria. You know, that one elder... the one with all the history. Please, I’m asking you all, let me make this adoption official. 🙂

Honestly.
Well, at least that isn't much of an issue from what I hear.
You just need to browse through a few tapes and pick one out.
Besides, the language barrier isn't even that significant.

Here is now

Don't sweat it, my boss has been getting daily emails with fresh offers from Brides.com for five years now. 🙏 I just don't dare subscribe myself, though. It would totally clash with my column over at The Click, and honestly, I'm terrified I'd lose my job if I did... 😢

random shower thoughts:

. at least two people were snoring loudly in the movie theater last night.
. why is the AC still blasting when it’s a perfectly pleasant 68 degrees outside? they probably just want to squeeze every extra cent out of us—classic corporate greed.
. since when do bats fly during the day? I spotted one out yesterday around 7:30 PM.

So, I'm heading out to a small town tomorrow. My super genius granddaughter needs it for her geography project for a national competition—so please, let me nerd out about it for a second 😍
Anyway, I just printed ten pages from the site and we're getting ready for the trip tomorrow.
