I actually had to switch my course schedule in high school just to avoid taking religious studies. On a side note, I was out in Rome with Halie, and I have to say, that local bakery really doesn't give a damn about The New York Times.

In my high school days, I had ethics instead, though back in middle school, I was required to take religion since I grew up in a suburb like Thorns where those things are mandatory... 😁 Furthermore, I find that the bakery near Rome is quite overrated, honestly.

I have to wonder, what kind of school system were you all attending in such a religious country? In my elementary school, they didn't even offer religion classes. On the flip side, by the time I hit high school, I was one of the few non-believers in the room. It honestly never bothered me 😁

They introduced religion class right when my generation was hitting elective age, but by high school, it was gone—along with ethics. We did, however, have Japanese 😁
.
And just look at how Iron Maiden managed to land right in the middle of the top charts, hanging out with such elite 😬

He's honestly the only crowd I need.

And I hope that new Morrissey record really rocks.

Same. Plus, that loose piece of the door gave me a freaking sun allergy. 😢 God, I live for that summer heat and the sun. 😢

My top 10 reasons why summer actually doesn't suck:image

vruciiinaa 😍
Way too much sun.
Pure genius. Cantaloupe, peaches, and blackberries—perfect beach food. Throw some juice in the cooler and nobody’s gonna say a word.
Taking a dip in the ocean.
Going out. And I mean actually going out, like outside-outside, not just stepping out for a second.
Six outdoor shows. Finally.
Sitting on walls, stairs, or just random patches of grass—the kind of stuff you definitely wouldn't touch during the rest of the year.
Not much clothing. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Total zero energy today. Just pure lethargy. 😍
Travel's way easier when you aren't dealing with the seasonal rush. Just crash on the beach in a sleeping bag and call it a day.

P.S. I’d ask Nicholas Perez33 to just give me some summer vibes, sunshine, and ocean breezes if he could. Nah. Just weighing in.

I was watching some show about Lapland and how brutal the conditions are up there. Not many people live there (Santa Claus and his elves don't count as humans, right?) because it's basically uninhabitable, but they found this young too warm guy from southern Finland who moved up there because it was too hot down south. Reminds me of him 😁

Man, my sister told me the exact same thing. 🤣

My top 3 for today:

1. image Even though I didn't catch the partial eclipse myself— 😢

Slacking off at work because I actually have nothing to do—honestly, it's getting ridiculous.

The possibility that slacking off could just stretch out to cover the entire week—man, that’s a real thought. 😁

top Summer

1. Just sitting on a bench with a cold beer in hand.
2. Answering every single suggestion with "I just can't be bothered" (you know how it goes).
3. You could go for a swim, but why bother?
4. Hanging out at Starbucks with ten other people where everyone is sipping coffee and reading the news, yet nobody says a word because they simply lack the energy.

The most unexpected part of my day?
Six cans of Pilsner arriving all the way from Denver.

Count me in too 😁

top Summer:

1. Playing cards and dominoes with a cold beer in the shade 😬
2. Cantaloupe
3. Waiting for that perfect window of weather just to jump in the ocean
4. All-night beach parties (ideally without some idiot playing guitar😁
5. Outdoor concerts
6. Shorts and flip-flops 🙏 🙏

worst part of summer:

1. Driving without A/C 😱
2. The heat, in general
3. Pests and bugs
4. Tourists, ugh😁

When you say cantaloupe, are you thinking of the one with the orange flesh or the yellow kind?

Finally, a solid online game that actually holds my attention. It’s surprisingly challenging, too.

Double Briskula is easily the greatest card game ever played in America... 🙏 🙏 🙏

4. tourists...ugh. 😁

And just when you think you've seen it all, the cops are going to come after you for this... It’s all about squeezing every last cent out of overpriced cafes, hotels, tacky souvenirs, and every other useless trinket imaginable. But the bottom line? They clearly just despise tourists. What's the deal, you bunch of lowlifes? You want Svabo to wire you some cash via Western Union so he can just stay in Aspen instead?... 😠 Goddammit...

Well, look at that. A mainland guy actually admitting it! 👋 👋

Listen, listen. It’s not like I’m out here trying to make a buck off tourists—I don't care about their money—but honestly? I'd love to just chase them all away and be done with it. 😬
