Nah, honestly, I just find this hilarious...
Here’s a quick list of jobs I’ve held—or am still somehow holding onto—despite being completely unqualified for basically all of them:

1. Editor-in-chief of an automotive magazine back when I didn't even have a license, let alone knew how to drive.
2. Director of an ISP despite having zero clue how to install Windows or deal with computers.
3. Writing for Penthouse, though... well, you guys get the idea.
4. Car journalist, even though I don't own a car.
5. Sales manager at a firm, even though I can't price my own worth and never bother trying.

I guess I could also mention that in the late eighties, I was tasked with clipping articles about Mickey Rourke from various American newsstands just to send them over to him, since the guy used to collect everything written about him. But I never actually sent a single thing (mostly because I wasn't really reading the mags where he might show up), and I definitely spent the twenty bucks I got upfront... So yeah, maybe that doesn't even count as a real job...

I mean, I'm looking at all these self-proclaimed experts debating band names and I honestly don't get it... 🙂

so even for a small-town guy from rural Ohio, this isn't good enough?

What’s with this elektro pizda? I can't even recall the band's actual name, but I know them well enough to get away with using the acronym 😎
.
The guitar work, though... yeah.

At this rate, you might even find that O'Reilly Auto Parts isn't good enough for you. It’s just not right 😢

Maybe a shorter version would just be The Walking Dead. Without the "The"? :ubermusicgeek:

🙂 Probably just more of my sister's nonsense.

Not required, just makes life easier. Let me break it down for you. Check this list:😁

The ultimate hall of fame for driving test fails, in order:

1. The examiner told me to buckle up after I already had the engine running.
2. Forgot to adjust the rearview mirror, then realized halfway through the drive that maybe it was better if I didn't touch it.
3. Slammed it from second into first instead of third, floored the gas, and just screamed "oh my god, what did I do"
4. Stalled out right in the middle of the highway.
5. When asked how you handle a roundabout, I just answered "roundabout."
6. When they asked again which rule applies at a roundabout, I blurted out "the right-hand rule."
7. On a narrow two-way street where cars are always parked in one lane, I honked at an old guy walking about 10 cm away from the road.
8. When the old man nearly dropped his grocery bag, I lost it laughing and told him he was hopping around like a rabbit.

If you're smart, you've heard enough. 😬

5. When asked how you navigate a roundabout, I just blurted out, "In a circle."
8. Watching an old man nearly drop his grocery bags... I lost it. Cracked a joke about him hopping around like a damn rabbit and practically died laughing.

🤣 🤣 plus a few more 🙏

And that Sherlock Holmes guy—man, what a headache—always making excuses, whether it was for the movies, a concert, or just sleeping through everything because he can't stand being at our place in Springfield... 🙄

🤣 🤣 🤣

My friend actually knocked a cyclist down during her test. Right in the middle of a crosswalk.

Well...

Serious plans for the year ahead (professional development edition)

1. Finally getting my driver's license
2. Signing up for a plant-based cooking class
3. Tackling some language studies—maybe Spanish or Italian—since my fluency needs a serious refresh

2. Maybe just sign up for a vegan cooking class somewhere.

You hippies should go hug a tree or something.

If you had suggested a workshop on making homemade pastries, rotisserie chicken, or even how to spin a kebab, I might have listened. But insisting on eating nothing but vegetables? Honestly, what a tragedy.😬

Well, that’s actually spot on! 😕

Anyway, nothing but total respect for you, your friend from Bad Seed, and everyone else dealing with those fender benders. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

Here is the top list of things the inner globalist in me is practically begging for:

1. Burger King 😍 🙂
2. Pizza Hut
