Dead Carrot said:We gave it a shot, but it just didn't work out. I'm not sitting around waiting two days for lunch while he's out there chasing some Baskerville dogs. And man, that Watson guy was always making excuses—whether it was for a movie, a concert, or just sleeping in because he couldn't stand being at our place in Zaprudje... 🙄

😠 😠 😠 Sherlock is mine!!! Even if that damn woman-hater will never understand. Damn Irene Adler.

The absolute best Sherlock Holmes stories

1. The Adventure of the Thor Bridge
...she possessed a deep, rich nature, too; passionate, whole-hearted, tropical, and ill-balanced—a far cry from the American women I’d known.

2. The Adventure of the Abbey Grange
i simply can't leave that case in this condition. Every instinct I have screams against it. It's wrong - it's All wrong - I'll swear it's wrong.

3. The Red-Headed League
Sherlock Holmes and i surveyed this curt announcement and The rueful faca behind IT, until the sheer absurdity of the situation totally took over and we both just lost it laughing.

4. The Adventure of Silver Blaze
"I assure you that I have not associated you with the crime, Colonel," he said; "the real murderer is standing right behind you!"

5. The Adventure of the Six Napoleons
"There are no limits to what monomania can do," I replied. "There is The condition which The modern French psychologists have called ' idee fixe, which might seem trivial, yet coexist with total sanity in every other aspect..."

Oh, Sherlock 😍

I’m betting I actually know who this Curie woman is. And who on earth is this Knor guy? I'm going to have to do some digging. If I track him down, I'll post a photo. stormyviper11, do you happen to know the legendary Tihomir b?
Is he from your age group, maybe known for heading out to fish in the middle of nowhere with a heavy-duty blaster slung over his shoulder?

Tihomir b? Don't know him by name, unless he goes by some kind of nickname, maybe...
Though, I didn't go to school in the small town, so my knowledge of people from back then is pretty limited—mostly just the folks who went to the big high school over in the city. And there weren't even that many of them to begin with.

Figure skating (figure skating? why call it that, what kind of name is that?) or speed skating? Are you bored watching gymnastics? What kind of person are you? 😁

Well, that’s certainly artistic. Though, I have to say, watching them faceplant is pretty hilarious.

Man, between the art, the music, the dancing, and all the gay guys... what an experience.

The sports I actually enjoy watching (though honestly, I rarely watch anything at all):
1. gymnastics
2. figure skating
3. rhythmic gymnastics
4. handball

The absolute snoozefests:
1. skiing
2. Formula 1 and basically any racing on a track
3. Honestly, most of them are just boring.

I guess speed skating is a bit too fast for me to follow comfortably.

especially in short races 🙏 when I think back to that Australian runner who was a full lap behind, yet somehow walked away with the gold because everyone else wiped out and slammed into the barrier just ten feet from the finish line 🤣 🙏

But women's basketball? Come on—how many people have actually sat through more than two minutes of that? Honestly.

I don't really get the hype around Burger King. It just doesn't hit the spot for me—not sure why, maybe I'm just picky. 😢
